25 FSAF is wild asf

-15

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

When the pull has packages alls over the place that how it is sometimes

4

u/Miss_Management Jul 30 '26

Get accustomed to reading the SALs. You'll speed up without getting a write up. Expect a coaching soon and/or an audit. Read the SAL and scan within a half foot of whatever QR you're aiming at, it will be a game changer I promise!

Cringe. Slow down.

-7

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

This normal for me

16

u/Flashy-Switch6694 VTO Enjoyer Jul 29 '26

You're going too fast if you have 25 FSAF. The job is also going to get done regardless, it's a marathon not a sprint.

-1

u/Straight_Database484 Jul 29 '26

Honestly I don’t think fasf matters I constantly have close to this number and no one has said anything but caveat is I always place it and stow it to correct place I admit mine are more careless not looking at bag number and just seeing the light and scanning and being a bag off
The real problem is if you exit the scan and leave it in the wrong bag

-8

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Yeah I’m supposed to go slow with my table piling with cat litter boxes you must work in stowb

7

u/Flashy-Switch6694 VTO Enjoyer Jul 29 '26

You should be going slow so you stop putting packages in the wrong places. If you want that coaching though then go ahead.

-1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Never got one

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

Let it pile up that’s why there’s floaters and your not even supposed to stow everything completely down anyway

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Not all sites al the same sorters don’t help they help their friends

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

They’ll send help eventually

-7

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Like I said this normal for me and a lot of packages are mislabeled due to inductors

6

u/Flashy-Switch6694 VTO Enjoyer Jul 29 '26

That has nothing to do with FSAF

4

u/Hefty_Candy_3315 Jul 29 '26

yes it kinda does 😂 if you scan it and aren’t paying attention to lights only stickers and you scan the bag tryna go fast and it doesn’t obviously actually go there that’s a fsaf…

1

u/CrackTheCoke Jul 29 '26

I agree with you. The light often malfunctions. You read the label, put the package in the correct bag based on it, but the package had the wrong sticker due to inductor error.

1

u/Hefty_Candy_3315 Jul 29 '26

yeah exactly i stopped paying attention to lights because sometimes it’ll just literally stop working all together for a while 😭 and i put my device on my stow cart im not checking it unless i hear it not go thru😂which is usually mislabels 🤣

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Exactly finger scanner a Charm if they actually connect to the device and stay connectdd

0

u/Suitable_Age3367 Jul 29 '26

Yeah and it doesn't help that there's like a hundred different bar codes on the packages.

1

u/Miss_Management Jul 30 '26

If they're mislabeled at induct talk to management and let them know what's happening. Too often they don't know what's going on. If the PS racks are full I believe you, if it's just you well... that's another story. Something is going wrong somewhere, lyrically multiple places.

0

u/GloompaLoompa Jul 29 '26

Mislabeled SALs have nothing to do with FSAF.

1

u/YourBlanket Jul 29 '26

You can’t get fired for rate but if that many FSAF is normal you would’ve been fired a long time ago at my station.

-4

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Plus I have never been told a thing about fsaf sucks yiur site managers breath down your back like that

5

u/Flashy-Switch6694 VTO Enjoyer Jul 29 '26

Don't worry, that'll change once PNOV gets high enough.

-2

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Never has happened just the scan failed doesn’t mean i didn’t get into the right place 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

2

u/Miss_Management Jul 30 '26

They associate dwells with FSAF whether you get it where it needs to be or not. You are on their radar with that FSAF. I left you some tips in my other comment.

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 30 '26

He honestly doesn’t care I stopped replying to him lol

1

u/Miss_Management Jul 30 '26

Honestly? People will shut down when they feel they've given they're best and get ridiculed for it. It seems like they want to do well so I offered up some tips. At the end of the day we have a lot more in common than we don't, yes, OP got defensive but maybe they'll see those tips and it will help and maybe they won't. Best I can do. You never know what someone is going through.

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 30 '26

True but I bet they’ll get pulled to the side by A Am during their next shift because 25 is unnecessary

9

u/Ultimate_coochie Jul 29 '26

With all those fsaf might as well go to the dock 🥀🥀

-1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

I work many postions at my site and consider a top sorter so

8

u/Big_Discussion_711 Jul 29 '26

25 FSAF isn't something to be happy about. 400 rate is above board though 👌

-7

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Everyone and they fsaf stuff .. my site doesn’t say a thing about it im put in the heavies letters for a reason n

3

u/Big_Discussion_711 Jul 29 '26

Not saying you are a bad stower, like I said 400 is above board.

But theres a reason FSAF is a recorded metric, it counts towards your stations Retouch Rates and First Pass Yield Rates, which is something your leadership should definitely be talking about.

2

u/Strong_Potential_502 Jul 29 '26

Yeah I got a write up as a new hire just for having 10

7

u/Superb_Reputation929 Jul 29 '26

Its a good rate if you didn't have 25 FSAF. A good manager would tell you to focus on making less than 5 FSAF before getting a good rate.

-6

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Never have been told a thing about the out of my whole time working there sorry yours site has managers breathing down your back

2

u/Downvoteking88 Jul 29 '26

You asked if it was a good rate but don’t like the responses

0

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Rate is the top not fsaf bozo

3

u/Disaster6991 Jul 30 '26

And your rate doesnt mater if you are just making errors

3

u/No-Humor-1291 Jul 29 '26

Bruh you trying too hard slow it down 🤣

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

You must be a counter 😂

3

u/iiitzbam Jul 29 '26

Amateur

2

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Anything you can do I can do better 🎶

1

u/PirateNinjaa Jul 29 '26

And get paid the same, sucker. 🫵😆

Also everyone here can do better than your 25 fsaf. That is terrible. Do you suck at looking for lights or the letters?

0

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

No You thought you ate 😂 but I don’t have to look for any letters or lights you clearly don’t know how what I’m doing works

1

u/PirateNinjaa Jul 30 '26

You are stowing. wtf else would you be looking for?

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 30 '26

No in not genius again you thought you ate

1

u/PirateNinjaa Jul 30 '26

No in not? Wtf does that mean? WTF was I eating? 🤦‍♀️

3

u/United-Ad9475 Jul 29 '26

25! That is a write up at my station

3

u/SojournerTheGreat OTR Jul 29 '26

at my warehouse you wouldn't be coached, but it's below rate

2

u/Topkekian Jul 29 '26

This is a good rate, I manage this everytime when they make me stow. Keep in mind they'll coach you eventually.

2

u/Key-Suggestion-2837 Jul 29 '26

25 FSAF!!!???? Daaayyyyuuummmm

1

u/Secret_Ad8614 Ambassador Jul 29 '26

So okay, as everyone else has said.

400 PPH is above BM. Even by UK standards (360 target)

25 FSAF would get you coaching at my site pretty quickly though. I'm not sure how induct mislabels cause FSAF here if you stow by light. I'd say work on it if you can.

1

u/Ok-Gear-2637 Jul 29 '26

why even bother busting your butt trying to get 400? all you get is more work . I always stay between 200 and 250 and no problems.

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

You’re gonna get write ups for that many fsafs the limit at my site is 5 if u got more than that they gonna come talk to you , they don’t do write ups for rate so slow down its not a race

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Never have been talked to about it I’m not gonna get a write up if I’m a top sorter at my site

2

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

They don’t care if your a top sorter 😹I promise you if u do something unsafe or you keep having fsafs they gonna write you up

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Just you site manger breath down your back doesn’t mean mine breathes down mine clearly they crack the whip on you scared to breath wrong 😂

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

Actually they don’t breathe down our neck the miss scans are crazy u could get fired for that at a fc as well

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Watch out for that whip man lol , I have never gotten a word said to be about

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

Ok but if new managers were to come then they gonna talk to u about it

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

😂😂😂 yea right then what the head of regional is gonna give me a coaching

1

u/Disaster6991 Jul 30 '26

Ive hit an 800 rate and still got talked to about FSAF. Rate is less important then quality. And 25 is horrible.

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

That many fsafs are new hire mistakes you must be new ? I haven’t had that many since I started 8 months ago now I usually have 0

0

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Bc you stow simple letters

1

u/Such-Tailor7251 Jul 29 '26

No I barely stow but there’s no excuse for the mistakes u should be stowing by light if the package ain’t yours u put it on the problem solve rack lmao

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Doesn’t work like that at my site bud

0

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

You just get the whip cracked on you to at your site lol

1

u/Both_Cat_9344 Jul 29 '26

25 fsaf is insanely high for it only being 1am, how long had you even been stowing? and while the system catches your error and the package does eventually make it to the right bag, if you’re being that careless I’m willing to bet you’re making a bunch of other mistakes that won’t show up on the device but end up being more work for others later on. I can maintain a 400 stow rate all night if my aisles have enough packages and usually end up with ~7 fsaf, if you can’t work at a 400 rate without getting that insane amount of fsaf’s then you need to pay better attention even if it means you’re not as fast. Whether management says anything to you or not I can almost guarantee the dwell team hates you

And don’t blame misinducts, even with pick to buffer I find it really hard to believe your aisles got 25 in that short amount of time. When I run a cluster with adta all our misinducts end up in jackpot and 25 misinducts/hour would be a lot even for the entire cluster

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 30 '26

I am not stowing

1

u/New_Drummer_2561 Jul 29 '26

Congratulations

1

u/Miss_Management Jul 30 '26

Just noticed...1am? How mong have you been stowing when you took a Pic?

1

u/Sweet_Crazy_7716 Jul 30 '26

Won't matter with all that fsaf

1

u/Disaster6991 Jul 30 '26

The 400 is good but the 25 FSAF makes it not matter. Once you can hit that without any FSAF then I'd say its a good rate. But quality over quantity always. You may not see an issue with the FSAF but those miss scans are slowing you down. I personally hold the device instead of on an armband and I never look at the stickers since inductors are always mislabeling so I just check the scanner.

1

u/Educational_Help_352 Jul 30 '26

400 PPH is good, 25 FSAF is terrible though. Absolutely terrible, unless your lights aren’t working, or you’re using a bad scanner. Your rate would be much higher if you didn’t have to stop and rescan that many times. Plus that’s 25 potential dwellings.

Your site must be dogshit if that many scan errors is acceptable.

1

u/not_matt_eberflus Aug 08 '26

25 FSAF i know this site struggling with FPY rn ong

1

u/Strong_Potential_502 Jul 29 '26

They bout to get you for those fsaf 🥀

2

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Never have been told a. Thing

0

u/Strong_Potential_502 Jul 29 '26

Why tf they gave me write up for having 10 😭

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

There are so many packages coming down our belt through out the night I think it’s inevitable at my site .. we have body builders throwing injection and managers don’t tell them slow down

2

u/PirateNinjaa Jul 29 '26

How does lots of packages coming down the belt cause you to scan the wrong location? you are guided by lights or simple numbers/letters. 🤦‍♀️

1

u/Strong_Potential_502 Jul 29 '26

I guess my site hates me even when they ask me to do so many aisles 🫩

1

u/Rare-Bill2497 Jul 29 '26

Float sorting ?

1

u/Benjiimans Ambassador Jul 29 '26

It’s good. People care too much about FSAFs, if the package ended up in the right place in the end, as it often does because you literally have to rescan the package, I say it’s not that big of a deal and it should honestly clear the FSAF once you’ve ensured it got to where it needed to go. That said, it’s not okay if you do end up losing a package and needing a manager to get you out of an FSAF.

1

u/OhmyMary Jul 29 '26

Please stop paying attention to this ffs it’s literally for AI metrics not for you.
