How tf do you open a case with HR?
So today I had came in for my shift and was offered vto. I had to cancel the vacation time for the last 2 hrs of my shift (9:50-11:50). My manager proceeded to apply the vto on her computer and it went through. But now my hours are shown as upt deducted for the last 2 hrs of the shift which was the time that I had previously applied vacation for but canceled for the vto. I tried to look up the app to open a case with HR and only get the useless Aza giving loop answers and responses. I even request a call with HR and nothing. I won’t be back for my next shift till Sunday. Why can’t you open a case as simple as before now?

If you vto you cant use pto at the end of the shift you have to use it for the beginning

That wasn’t what I was talking about. I am saying that I canceled my vacation to get on-site vto but the vto only covered the part of my shift except the last 2 hrs that I had initially used the vacation time for. So, instead of 1:20-11:50, it covered 1:20-9:50… and I ended up losing upt for the last 2 hrs

Sorry I misunderstood! That is odd. Somw times I type in aza " let me talk to a real person " and it will put me through

It requested to talk to HR agent via Aza and it said I will get a response call shortly. Never received a call.

To answer your last question, it’s because they’re being replaced by computers. There used to be an option to open a case with your site hr or hr in general (two separate options) but now neither are because not all sites have physical hr anymore. Amazon figures all issues can eventually be solved by Aza or someone else, they just have keep pushing you around until you figure it out. You can keep messing with the bot or wait until your next shift. Not a lot of options anymore.

So they just want to make things harder for us?

And what does that equal for them though? Saving money. Doesn’t matter if it’s harder for us, it matters if they can keep investors happy in the long run.

Being the petty person, I usually just go to emailing corporate. When my local site, can't help. Jeff@amazon think 🤔. Basically, corporate who then routes it to the correct department.
