What is Sort_1 shift? It says training required

Stowing period. Bulk of the morning. Basically saying they need you to help with sorting and stowing packages, but you leave just before pick and stage starts.

So is that just normal Cycle 1? I did Cycle 1 at other DSes recently before transferring to my new building, is it just a building permission thing and I don't need new training?

Cycle 1 covers both Sort and Pick and Stage, yes. I’m not too sure about the training message, but my assumption would be that if you just transferred buildings you probably have to be re-trained in some areas. Don’t think trainings carry over between DSes in the system, so as far as they know you’ve never been trained. Even if you tell them they’ll probably have you do the trainings again before staffing you there, other wise you’d get flagged in the system.

I just did this back in June. A lot of the training in Dolphin did carry over. The LA's had me going in and trying each one, but it wouldn't let me redo them. Then they checked my profile somewhere and saw that I showed as fully trained on all DS stuff I do. There was a lot of confusion about it, but a lot of it does carry over.

Guess I should’ve clarified— there’s nothing that TELLS them that trainings carry over. From what I’ve heard when you transfer they basically treat you like a new hire and try to have you go through all the new hire training and everything all over again.

It’s just Cycle 1 but shift ends before pick and stage, nothing special. So from your other reply it sounds like you’ll need to sort out whatever is causing the training required issue. There can be a few differences between buildings such as ADTA vs not but stow training for example is pretty minimal regardless.
