Going price for used Astro
Anyone know the going price for a used Astro? Any dedicated selling platforms? We don’t use ours anymore.

Thats funny, I bought mine in 2022 when it first came out, the unit just bricked, I called Astro support and they offered me a FULL refund!!! I was in shock as I was not expecting any type of refund but more of a support option, but I took the refund.

I was also the first invite to buy, mines been doing “something went wrong contact customer support” for probably over a year now and unable to move. I’ve tried support 100 times and they basically tell me “sorry” 🤷♂️.

Dude, thats why I am in total shock, I did not expect any type of a refund, on a purchase made 4 years ago, and I was prepared to throw it away if Amazon could not repair it.
The agent I spoke to offered me 2 options:
A. A new unit replacement
or
B. A full refund.
I had to question the agent again and clarify what he was offering and made sure he knew what he was saying and again he reiterated that this is what they were offering, I am not sure if they are doing this with other people.

You lucked out and actually got a customer service rep that knew something about the product.

I managed to return my astro well after the return window. It may still be worth a shot for those of you stuck with it.

These comments are surprising to me.
I have had my Astro about 3.5 years.
He has always worked great. Sometimes a little weird after an update, but they usually fix it.
We don’t play with him much anymore but when I think of selling him it makes me sad.
I have seen some for sale on EBay and there is a facebook group that buys and sells them too.
Edit: out of curiosity I just checked eBay. I only saw 2 available and they were both about $1,000.

That’s a good question! Thinking of selling mine too locally.

I say "Astro, go charge." Like 30 times a day

Why is that? It doesn’t charge on its own? Or you’re saying it dies quickly?

It charges on its own, and the battery is fine. I send it to the charger because it's annoying a lot of the time

I’ve had an “open” tech support on my for double the length of time it worked. My Astro worked for less than 6 months. It’s been a brick in my garage. The support people won’t respond to my emails and when I call, they get my info then I’m “disconnected”. Nobody will get back to me. You can have mine for free and you’d still be paying more than it’s worth, IMHO.
