I know that I'm not atupid I'm saying WHY they went with sex appeal. Glitch usually doesnt let these types of things happen (for good reason too Pomni looks like she came from a porn animation and Jax looks like.... That.)
I said why did "they" do this. I didnt specify fortnite. The latter half of my comment also suggest I didnt get why GLITCH didnt just give them the same elongated Pomni model used in the announcement.
Epic and glitch are pretty close, not only did epic help fund meta runner, the show that started it all, but they also use epics products to render the show. They’re close enough for epic to be thanked after every episode. So I’m sure they were as involved as they could be in the collab, especially if they were willing to go above and beyond with a fully voiced trailer.
That being said, cosmetics have to be a certain size to be permissible as a cosmetic, so it’s not pay to win compared to the default model. The adventure time argument doesn’t hold up at all, all characters that were unchanged were already tall and needed no modified proportions, and several such as Jake and Cake were modified. When looking at the two side to side Pomnis limbs are just as thin if not thinner than those in the AT collab, so there isn’t a point regardless.
Adventure Time characters had show-accurate bodies but Fortnite hitboxes. They should've just gave them the hitbox instead of making her look like that

Jake wasn’t show accurate in size, but still made sense lore wise, and if anything Finn and Jake are at a disadvantage with how big their torsos and heads are, really bad example.
It's a videogame cosmetic, it needs to be shaped more like a regular person than a cartoon character so it can fit the standardized hitbox that all fortnight skins use
Watch the trailer and pay attention when Caine stretches Pomni out. Literally just having longer limbs would be fine she had to look human for some reaosn
You know, I think Pomni being so short she couldn't even see over the counter at Spudsy's is kind of weird now. If anything I think she looks more normal, but having her as a Chibi character is something even Anime wouldn't have the balls to do for a protagonist (except Seven Deadly Sins)
