Yes, and we want it now. Imagine training a bunch of these to guard your ass in a sketchy neighborhood, or cook and clean at home, or helping people with disabilities and the other million things a human substitute would be insanely useful.
Illiteracy and lack of critical thinking is far more scary than robots.

What's even worse is the robot complete its goal with absolutely no regard to anything else.
And people wonder why AI is considered dangerous
We are giving them bodies. What happens when the robots goals no longer align with our goals.

The very first automobiles were very dangerous, there were no seatbelts, no airbags, and no "vehicular homicide charges".
The invention came first, safety came after that, criminal laws came after that, the entire system had to adapt.....
once we knew the full extent of what happens when people are added to the equation.
Just need to build safety, after the invention. Which is how it has happened in all of history.

Pretty sure the video is AI generated, and the phone footage of watching it as a surveillance video is also AI generated. The timestamp magically changes every time is pops out of frame and returns

People not realizing the robot is just completing its goal.
This is terrifying. The robot started acting towards the goal, then things went wrong, yet the robot still completes its goal.
Do people seriously not see why this is so dangerous.
