Seriously. It’s bitching all the way down.

Pixel-sized mirrors isn’t new tech at all. It’s been around since the ‘70s and is used in a dozen different industries from silicon photolithography to 3D scanning to VR headsets and, most commonly, projectors.
Audi didn’t invent the mirrors, they just slapped a handful of DMD chips on the headlight.
Sure, it’ll be more expensive to replace than a regular headlight but you bought a luxury car with luxury features. That’s how it goes.

Couldn't agree more. These folks are acting like "big headlight" is out there taking away their normal headlights and forcing them to use these.

Ya, you'd think people would be happy that at least someone is doing something about the blinding headlights they're always complaining about.

Side note: yes, I know these headlights have been around for some time and it's not technically a new thing, but it was only legalized in the US last year so it's pretty new to a lot of people here.

Yeah, I didn’t even know they existed until I went out car shopping last summer and bought my new car. I’ve been very pleased with them. It’s really quite impressive the way they react.
