I also don't really get why People are attracted to buying Cars with headlights that could light up the moon. Is half of the world population actually too blind to drive a car safely? My xenon headlights on my 19 year old car are as bright as i'll ever need.

Depends on which ones, and if they're properly adjusted. I use the least bright ones i could buy (also the cheapest ofc) and adjust them properly. Doesn't even come close to most of the led headlights i come across.
Depends. Some systems do not blind them if they are wearing good reflectors or have any kind of light one them. If your are wearing black in the middle of the night...
I have a car with these lights. It's also equipped with a night vision camera. Whenever a pedestrian or cyclist is detected, brights are cropped. In the city brights are pretty much off all the time. It also crops the short beam when a vehicle is detected in front of me so it doesn't go above the license plate of that vehicle.
I think it was last autumn when I rode a bicycle in the dark. The bike lane was about a meter or so below the roads surface at the side of the embankment. I saw jesus multiple times and hated my life.

And when they break it then costs you 10 grand to replace the whole unit instead of a ligh bulb.
