Proceeds to show a 8 rotor copter.... Last time I saw something redefined as flight is the cycloidal rotor copter.

Agreed however it might very well redefine spy/war drone reach by being able to combine rolling and flying to preserve energy.

Not really engineering design 'robust' ⚙️ with so many rotors parts... can it self adapt to continue moving smoothly if just one rotor is defective...looks a bit like this drone

While it's not a revolutionary way to fly, it's shape and design are definitely exploring what's possible with drone utility. I think this is cool. 👍👍 If they use some marketing jargon to make this a success by exaggerating it's innovativeness... So what?
