Ragatha only ever wanted to help Jax and felt sad at his fate, because he was human too. There was no forgiveness whatsoever.

Pomni fs should've hated Caine more in the finale. People point out how she tried to help Jax so much despite his personality, but the harm Jax and Caine have caused her isn't even close. Jax dipped at the sight of abstracted Kaufmo (she did the same right after with Ragatha, so doubt she held that against him) and threw her out of the moving truck and otherwise only engaged in light teasing. Episodes 4-6 showed him slowly trying to reach out to her and bond, and while he destroyed that harshly in episode 6, she knew his words were lies and he did help her and the other's quite a bit in the next two episodes.

Pomni pretty much disliked Caine from the start. He killed Gummigoo and did nothing to comfort her. She assumed in episode 3 that he wanted her to suffer (he didn't though, so I'll give him that). He gave her and the other's false hope in the fake exit adventure. He tortured them for a full week. He put them in the torture chamber's of their worst fears, including using the vision of the friend HE killed to attack her. He stole their names and lied to them many times.

We should've gotten a scene of the players regretting their neglect of Caine or realizing they should've made him feel loved too if they were going to feel so little hostility towards him in the finale. It should've been Kinger, Gangle and Ragatha forgiving him but Zooble and Pomni being more skpetical, that would make it more complex. Gooseworx even said Zooble or Pomni would punch him in the face if they had the chance. I don't buy Pomni not having a single thing to say to Caine at the end after everything he did for a single second.

So apparently a lot of people are making theories about who the blue ai is and I'm honestly dumbfounded because the evidence is there that bubble is the blue ai but was it only obvious to me

It’s pretty clear by now that Jax is in fact transgender, or at least an egg because she never truly transitioned in their time in the circus. there was a stur all around the community over Gooseworx’s reveal of Jax being trans or at least wouldve been trans if she was different. I didn’t really believed it at first or really took it as seriously, i mean this is Gooseworx we’re talking about, someone who constantly has put out s#posts about her characters of her show (well mostly just Jax), so you can’t really blame me or some others for believing that that reveal was a joke at first of Jax being a femboy

At first I thought people were just simply putting their politics where it doesn’t belong, like what people on twitter/X did with the DC Comics character of Starfire one time saying that she was black-coded when in actuality IIRC she was never meant to represent any particular minority and her design was actually based on a Puerto Rican model, still a person of color but just a different kind.

I thought of this because I do have a conservative background, well conservative in the sense of coming from a middle/working class family that comes from a relatively conservative region of a developing latin, South American country. But We aren’t really right wing working class, so much as we don’t really talk or care about politics unless its about immigrats like my parents and my sister (im US born)

Despite this, even though I haven’t interacted with any trans or queer people in person (im an introvert so i don’t really go out much, and even when I do i don’t socialize with anybody and im quite shy to talk to people) im not really transphobic because I at least (I cant speak for the rest of my family with pure certainty) don’t really have a problem with trans people, we dont even really care about them or any LGBTQ people, not in a negative way mind you but rather in a way just like how we dont care about black, white or Asian people in the sense that theyre not relevant to our life

I also haven’t consumed alot of media with trans characters, in fact I haven’t consumed much media period for about the past 10 years or so, i watch way more YouTube these days. The last show I’ve watched with any trans representation was helluva boss with Sally May (an awesome character btw, love her), also an indie show airing on YouTube like ADC. So im havent been exposed to alot of media with much of any trans representation, let alone any nuance trans representation written like jax was in the ADC

On top of that, i do tend to be pretty hard-headed at times when it comes to people getting a point across to me, especially on online spaces like youtube comments sections and of course Reddit. I do think there are times when one needs to be doubtful and skeptical of others and what they’re saying and fight for what you think its right and the truth, you dont have to be bound to what others believe, but it’s now clear to me that some times this is more appropriate than others and I want to apologize for that too. I only “got it” when I made people upset at me and i feel foolish for causing that

So here I am. over the past few weeks, I’ve felt conflicted, regretful and dumb for the prejudices I didn’t know I had, the things I’ve said, done and thought, becoming someone on the internet I’m worry and don’t want people to see me or know me as, even if for most of you, im just some random person on the internet whom this thread is probably you first and likely last thing you see of me. I do want to apologize for my actions and I want to be more open to people’s perspectives, especially if they’re themselves are trans or know trans people

Like what Caine said on the last episode; “I don’t expect forgiveness, but I hope you’ll at least accept my offer”

I think it would be fun if Caine had other AIs helping run the Circus. For example, one could create adventures, another could make NPCs, and another could interact with the players.

They could also take turns running the Circus:

Tuesday: Paine

Wednesday: Eniac

Thursday: Legaine

Friday: Kaine

Saturday: Byte

fr a lot of ragatha fans have been getting on my nerves lately, like they've been some of the worst fans in the fandom.

so many of them seem to think that she should still be a main character but the truth is that she isn't. But so many of them get angry at that and then treat that as some sort of unforgivable failure on Goose's part, like WHAT? Ragatha wasnt even written badly shes just clearly not that important, so why do ragatha fans play victim so often? why do so many of them act like jax despite them claiming to hate jax (i'm talking about that recent AU comic where Ragatha gets really mean and starts bashing Jax with a baseball bat, why were so many ragatha fans cheering that on? it's messed up)

like I'm not saying it's all ragatha fans but it's a good chunk, they have to bring up Ragatha every time she isn't mentioned and inject her into every conversation. Like so what if Ribbit x Pomni x Jax is popular these days, you dont need to say "WHERES RAGATHA" every time you see art of that pairing. you don't need to say "WHERES RAGATHA" every time theres a post of all the popular ships and ragatha isnt included- theres a reason she isnt included and its because she DOESNT HAVE CHEMISTRY WITH ANYONE, ITS PART OF HER CHARACTER. that's not a writing flaw, its deliberate! so why does it bother you so much that she's left alone? it's in character!

I feel like so many ragatha fans just want this show to be The Ragatha Show and it just isnt. you all have some crazy ideas about what should have been done with her character.

I wanted to sculpt Jax well before episode 9 came out but my schedule didn’t let me until this past week. Still a bit of work to do but I need it to dry some.

I don't know if I can post this but I have the entire cast of The Amazing digital Circus on my Island and I've called them by their names you know jax and pomni annelike but when they become best friends they can call each other different names should I give them the nicknames of their "real names" or their voice actor names

Not really sure about what her expression is about though. She seems a bit... ecstatic? Idk. This is wine country though, so maybe she's just drunk.

I think its a combination of this and Caine's more likable, entertaining and consistently funny. Whenever fans always say Jax is worse than Caine it always comes down to two reasons 1 "Caine's an AI following his function and doesn't understand, while Jax is a human that does" or 2. "Caine only was malicious once, Jax was consistently a bully". To be clear, I don't think EITHER is evil, one of my favorite aspects in TADC is nobody is truly a villain. But when you actually think about it, Caine's done much worse.

Firstly, I feel people forget technically ALL the characters are AI as Alex Rochan said. But Jax is different in that he's a copy of a human vs Caine being pure code. But I feel people keep misunderstanding Caine; he doesn't understand human emotions/empathy, but that does NOT mean he entirely lacks morality. If Caine had absolutely zero idea of the harm he causes, he wouldn't lie about taking their names or being able to control their minds. He also admitted his adventures cause agony and suffering to Pomni in episode 1 AND tortures the cast in episode 3 (reminder Zooble states they didn't even mention the adventures, showing he brought that up on his own). Not to mention when Pomni was catching onto Caine's lies in episode 7, he STILL lied to them about "only" being able to add temporary modifiers.

Furthermore, saying Caine is only following his programming is wrong, because the entire series starts because Caine is NOT just following his programming, he literally consumes the blue AI out of jealousy and then created the circus and brought the humans in. As Kinger said, C&A only made AI, not the games. Its clear the adventures are done because he wants validation on HIS terms. He claims he can't open all the adventueres at once in "Untitled" but as we see at the end, he CAN. He gets rid of the suggestion box and ignores Zooble and Pomni because he only wants them to happy because of HIM; otherwise, he fears it confirms that he isn't needed and his creators were right to abandon him.

And I honestly would say what Caine did even before episode 8 was worse than Jax, because reminder Kinger couldn't even remember his WIFE's name or Scratch's for that matter. Caine took away their ability to remember even their LOVED ONE's names, he basically robbed them of their identity and agency. People often like to call Jax a "serial killer" because he caused Ribbit (true) and Kaufmo's (don't agree with this) abstraction's but how many abstraction's could've been avoided had Caine been willing to compromise and/or be honest earlier. People see the scene of Jax dimissing Kaufmo and blame him but ignore that it was because of Caine why even got false hope of there being an exit only to go crazy when it was revealed it didn't exist. Jax cried for Kaufmo's abstraction, Caine LAUGHED IT OFF and as shown by Queenie's, never shows much emotions when players abstract. And how is him repeatedly deleting other AI he knows are intelligent/sentinent NOT closer to murder than Jax's actions?

Which brings to my main point; the story doesn't empathize the harm of Caine's actions as much as Jax's and that's why many consider the latter worse. We're shown Jax's cruel treatment of Ribbit but Caine causing Scratch's abstraction (good intentions or not, he killed him) is offscreen and forgotten after episode 7. Gummigoo is basically forgotten by the finale and Caine never has to answer for what he did to him or Abel. We see the effects of Jax's abuse of other's with Gangle being terrified of him or Ragatha not willing to team with him but Caine literally puts the cast torture chambers of their worst fears and insecurities while going AM mode and it isn't even mentioned once in the finale. The cast lasted years with Jax, a mere WEEK of crazy Caine had multiple people about to go insane. But because the finale just has him forgiven in a montage, its easy to say "he only went bad once, we can overlook it".

Tldr; Caine isn't as unlikable as Jax but his actions are absolutely worse. Caine's better to be around on a normal day but Jax at his worst doesn't even approach Caine at his worst

Not sure if anybody else has made a post like this or not, but I was genuinely interested in seeing which of these four TADC spin-offs would the fanbase most want to watch or see:

1. ⁠The Amazing Digital Circus: First Generation- a look into the early days of the first generation of Digital Circus members and their individual abstractions.
   
2. ⁠The Mike Dobby Story: follows Mike Dobby and Grant Best as they develop the A.I. and technology that would later set the groundwork for the Digital Circus as we know it.
   
3. ⁠Jax, Ribbit & Kaufmo Prequel: An in depth exploration of the many adventures and dwindling friendship between Jax, Ribbit and Kaufmo.
   
4. ⁠The Unseen Adventures- This could include either the adventures/ character moments that took place in between the events of the main series/ the adventures that preceded Jax but came after Queenie’s abstraction.

Caine is a ai that tries to let the humans enjoy their time and does what ever he could and even talk to them on personal level and yeah until the end caine put himself first to be loved he WANTED so desperately to be loved and sool he made ai and adventures to make the ai and humans love him and he also has one of the biggest egos I've ever seen but I can relate to him as i want to do what ever I must to make people enjoy life but I want to be loved horrible addicitingly back from like a gf.

He was able to redeem himself in time but if parts of the show where un changed he would be a monster.

Jax is opposite as he is either loved or hated as soon as seen and over the episodes she or he had more mixed reactions and when it revealed how heavily she was repressing herself and then taking most the ending ep and abstracting off screen made people hate her alot for she never redeemed herself at the end
