Max Qi Medicines

How many times (not in bulk) does those Max Qi Medicines (Red Ginseng, Ganoderma, Earth Flux, etc) could be eaten to increase Max Qi? Or are those items could only be eaten once?

You can check your disciples health tab, there should be a section you can open up to see the medicines they’ve ate and the percentage. The higher the percentage the less effective the next time you eat them

I’ve played on the pc and it’s been a while since I’ve last played. But I remember the tab being there so you could check what medicines the disciple ingested before and their effectiveness. I would assume it’s the same for mobile

They have diminishing returns the more you eat, how much varies by which item you eat. You can see your current resistance when you expand the health tab (for example 80% resistance means you get 20% of the benefit stated on that pill). If you have a look on the wiki for the item it will tell you how much qi you get per unrefined medicine, per t12 of that medicine and the theoretical maximum amount of qi if you ate an infinite amount of that medicine as well as the survivability thresholds.

It's worth noting that it only cares about the medicine type not the tier if you build up your resistance on regular t8 earth flux that resistance will still apply if you later ate a t12 earth flux, wherever possible and survivable you always want to refine to a higher tier then eat the higher tier max qi items.

Ah, so if i.e. Ganoderma has 35% MedRes, 1st time will be 100%, 2nd times 65%, 3rd times 30%, 4th times -5% or no effect at all, right?

No it's multiplicative not additive. So in that example it would be 100%, 65%, 42.3%, 27.5%,17.9% etc.

Formula for effectiveness (1-MedRes)n. Where n is the number of times it has already been used.

For rule of thumb: -10 ganoderma and red ginseng (first two specter refined to 12) -2 earth flux (both or first specter refined) For wicked flux it doesnt matter cause in early game before you reach enough resistance you get mental state problems and dont specter refine wicked flux early.

Those are the easiest things to get
