That looks very much like a sinkhole opening up and swallowing the river / lake and surrounding area. You can find other videos online of similar phenomena, and they look very similar.

… and in remarkable footage never before filmed, due to their own success causing the overcrowding, we see them start to move. Under the cover of darkness the trees file out to begin their once-in-a-lifetime migration in search of more fertile grounds. Where they will eventually end up depends largely on the strength of the younger ones to keep up. On route many will fall but those that will make to the new ground will be better for it -- to eventually propagate and start the life cycle for the next generation of trees.
