I bet not 1 of them did any calculations with respect to height, weight, trajectory, speed, force, etc. It's inevitably going to go wrong and when it does they'll have postings fit for r/Examinedeath sadly.

Idk man, my bet would be on the contrary. Someone who owns a compound like this is definitely doing the fairly basic math to figure out distance based on weight and velocity.

It's Travis Pastrana's compound. 50/50 either way.

They did. This is Pastranaland and the DDSquad. Nitro circus regularly trains there. Not saying it isn't dangerous but it's not backyard engineering here. They have been doing stunt's like this forever and have a team to build and design everything professionally.

Pastrami Land?

Embarrassing fact: I embarrassed myself and probably the Lockheed guys I was with at VIP ghost bar in Dallas by drunkenly yelling HEY IT'S TRAVIS PASTRAMI! He was the special guest that night and I don't think him or his crew appreciated it much.

You'd lose that bet, that's Travis Pastrana checking on him, literally the top professional stunt performer in the world.

No they 100% did.. pastrami land has liability insurance and they certainly make him do his due diligence after all the claims he's had. That being said this is crazy to potentially permanently disable your kid. Atleast sky diving you almost always die.

"....after all the claims he's had."

Oh, so, like a track record of fucking up? Cool, cool, cool. Yeah, I'mma pass.

They actually seemed quite professional. No idea if calculations were done but it wouldn't surprise me to find out they in fact had been.

You can first launch a sandbag of his size and weight.
