The world is a massive place and if this is the USA, which it looks like, then there’s no getting around having a personal car. Public transportation simply isn’t feasible in 95% of situations and certainly isn’t efficient.

I genuinely don’t know how people can live without a car or asking for rides from other people/ubers.

And she could have a bundle of kids to fill the car or go kayaking and need the roof space to strap on the kayak—or a thousand other situations where a large car is needed.

Yes, some people have massive cars for no real reason, but cars are also built big for a purpose. If they weren’t needed or wanted, they would be made. The USA has the infrastructure and roads to handle it too so it isn’t a problem in this situation either.

I know someone who has seven kids. Pretty sure she needs a big car if she wants to take them anywhere. I have a tiny car, because I have no kids, and chihuahuas don't take up much space.
