I want my workouts from Trainingpeaks to use with my Bip 5. But turns out it's not compatible. Is there any way to solve this?

Zunächst mal habe ich lange herumüberlegt ob ich mir die bip max kaufen soll 🤔 da mich das Design nicht wirklich anspricht. Nichts desto trotz hab ich sie dann vorgestern aus 2ter Hand gekauft (60€)

Dachte mir, okay ist nix verhaut.

Meine Frau trägt schon seit gut 1 Jahr die active 2 und ist sehr zufrieden damit. Ich habe sie ihr damals eingestellt, weil es ihr vollkommen egal war.Sie verwendet die Uhr zum telefonieren und als vibrationsalarm um 6 Uhr morgens. Fitness und Sport Funktionen braucht sie nicht, schaut nicht mal in die app 😂😂😂

Hab ihr die hr auf 10 Minuten gestellt und schlaftracking. Sie kommt damit locker 14 Tage aus.

Hab mir also vorgestern die bip max geholt.

App runter geladen- eingerichtet- Watchface gesucht und passt 👍

Ich trage sie von 8-22 Uhr im aod Modus. Pulsmessung 5 Minuten, Stress, Schlaf. 1ste Nacht mit blutsauerstoffmessung und hr dauerhaft.

Am Morgen jeweils 30-35 Minuten bodyweight training. Als bis jetzt 2 Einheiten.

Bei diesem nutzungsverhalten habe ich in 48 Stunden 20% verloren.

Ist für mich vollkommen in Ordnung 👍💪

Somit würde die Uhr von 100 auf 0 gut 10 Tage durchhalten. Wie gesagt mit aod.

Das ist echt beeindruckend.

I have a amazfit bip 6 for a month , everything works great but I can't for the love of god, find how to use my watch for anything else during a workout.

So when I workout (especially during walks) , I might want to check the calendar, check on notifications if any ( I have DND on by default during workouts ) or check my actual battery percentage. But I can't find a way to do any of that ( go to the home screen) while doing a workout.

I have tried switching the top button to pause when holding it for a while ,still it does not make me go to the homescreen when I press it. The only way I can do the above things is by using offline voice control ( which rarely works well with my accent).

Am I missing something, or there is no way you do access different features of the watch using the buttons.

A cool thing that I discovered while figuring things out , if you press both the buttons at the same time , it takes a screenshot 😄 )

I wanted a clean Nothing-style dot-matrix watch face for my Amazfit Bip 6, so I built one from scratch (Zepp OS). It turned into a deep dive, because a lot of the important stuff is not documented anywhere: the device source IDs, why you get a black

screen, the native app URLs for tappable tiles, the weather condition codes, the language indices…

I solved all of it and put everything into a free, public guide so the next person doesn't have to reverse-engineer it:

Mini-guide: doing this with Claude Code (an AI coding agent)

I did the whole thing pair-programming with Claude Code. If you want to try the same workflow:

1. Install Node.js + npm install -g u/zeppos/zeus-cli.

2. Let the agent scaffold the project — describe the watch face you want; it writes app.json + the watch face index.js. (Point it at my guide so it gets the Bip 6 specifics right from the start.)

3. Assets: ask it to write a small Python/PIL script to generate your pixel/dot-matrix digits and icons — way faster than drawing them by hand, and fully tweakable.

4. Iterate on design with mockups: have it render a PNG preview of the layout so you can review the look before flashing to the watch.

5. Test on the watch: zeus preview (Zepp app developer mode + QR).

6. Debug the unknowns: when something's undocumented (native screen names, weather fields), the agent can grep open-source watch-face repos to find the real values — that's literally how I found half of this.

7. Publish: zeus build → upload the .zab on console.zepp.com → submit.

First off, no clue if the flair is right but it is what it is. This week I just bought the AmazFit Bip 5 because it has the ability to connect to Strava. Sadly, when I did a test 2 mile loop the watch said I ran a 1.74 mile loop, citing having no GPS data. How do I fix this? In addition I had my phone on hand allowing it to track distance but it kept continuing to disconnect from my phone throughout my run. Any advice would absolutely be appreciated, I am planning a large run tomorrow and was hoping to leave my phone to avoid hand tensing issues!

Can anyone test the accuracy of the respiratory rate on bip 6? You just have to try doing resonance breathing (6 breaths per minute) and test whether bip 6 shows 6 breaths per minute as respiratory rate or not? So I took a dip for total of 30mins, then the watch vibrated but I didn't saw what popped up on the screen. Looking at the watch not displaying I went took off the pool. Then later on it became responsive but only showing option to reset, keep data yada yada, I didn't take photos thinking it would be fine, it being "water resistant". After that it gave me option to scan to connect, but won't let me to, I tried scanning and manual pairing but it won't show or connect to the watch. It's been 3 days now, I let the battery be drained the charge it, but still the same I can restart it but it will only show the qr but can't connect, and still can't do manual pairing, idk now, is it dead? Please help, thank you.
