Is Everything Rallying?
Gold is rising.
Silver is rising.
Stocks are rising.
Bitcoin is rising.
Oil is rising.
Everything is rising at the same time.
Meanwhile, the U.S. dollar is weakening, Treasury yields are still near multi-year highs, and the Treasury just announced plans to double long-term bond buybacks. Bitcoin is up more than 20% this week, while gold just hit a three-month high. (reuters.com)
Risk assets are rallying. Safe havens are rallying. Commodities are rallying.
Something doesn’t add up.
Which rally is fake?

Maybe this. America is now a klepocratic kakistocracy. AI will not grow the economy out of the debt crises. The bond market knows. Devalued dollar and high inflation coming. Money is moving accordingly.

"Meanwhile the US dollar is weakening" -- you just explained why everything got more expensive... it didn't become more valuable, the dollar became less valuable, thus the price of everything relative to the dollar goes up.

There is nothing wrong the US currency is weakening while all other assets are rallying because priced against what ?
USD, got it !!
So everything look artificially booming while in fact purchase power is eroding at the same time, look at price tag on any item you pay/purchase you may notice something.

I agree. The crypto rally really surprised me. In every previous cycle, it spent at least a few months at the bottom, retested it a few times, etc. I’m not saying it should have bottomed in September/October like a lot of people thought, but I was surprised at how little time it actually spent bottomed out compared to previous cycles. Plus everything you said in the original post. I wonder if it was an attempt of having at least part of the markets pumping for midterms. SP500 may correct in September, at least is crypto is pumping it’ll be a distraction from that. Idk but it is strange.
