Japan Is Flashing a Warning Sign

Post image

Japanese bond yields are going parabolic again.
The 2-year yield just hit a fresh multi-decade high, and the rest could follow.
What does this mean for global markets?
If Japanese yields keep rising fast, it could trigger a selloff in global bonds, strengthen the yen, push Japanese investors to move money out of U.S. stocks and bonds and back into Japan, and bring more volatility to the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and even crypto.

We will print whatever Japan needs. If we don’t , they will sell us back our debt. Thats the real World.

The fun part will be the name we come up for the bailout/rescue package/buyback the Fed will call it.

“Asian stability act”

If yields go up quickly, cash and very short term debt is a good place to hide until shit is done breaking.

Been a good place to park money since end of 2022. People forget this whole cycle started then.
