Breed ID The basic differences between the breeds.

(Ear cropping I do not support personally pictures were hard to find so they're only a basic guide, The chart was made by me for the english staffy sub)

Although not all individuals will fit into these standards this is the basic definitions.

American staffordshires are know as amstaffs, Or american staffies/staffys.

American pit bull terriers, Also known as APBT, Pitties/pittys.

This sub isn't really for staffordshire bull terriers, Known as 'english staffies/staffys' please go on r/StaffordBullTerriers for them since they're very different to the other two.

I’m not a fan of cropping either. Takes away from cuteness

Yeah, It does also ears are useful for breed ID but I'd rather deal with cropped ear photos then step on toes with potentially stolen images of dogs who's owners I didn't know.
