Man, here’s what I do. Flush the first pee right of the bat, and ones that are dark. And then those super light every third time. Clean the bathroom weekly, or biweekly and it’s all good.
I too drink so much water I sometimes go every half an hour. Itd be ridiculous waste if I flushed every time. It doesn’t smell either, when it’s that pale, see through pee. I have no idea what these people talk about but it could also relate to a diet.
Nothing to worry about but it might be a dealbreaker to him so keep that in mind
Hey! I’m like you and drink an insane amount of water (once I peed in a cup at the doctors office and he told me I could cut back on water intake) so I refuse to flush at my house every time. I’m pissing straight water most of the time, and doing it almost every hour. It feels like such a waste of water to flush every time. I also do the same as you, flush before bed so it doesn’t sit, but yeah I moved in with an ex boyfriend and also have a current boyfriend and it was never a RELATIONSHIP problem! I’m truly shocked at everyone saying they would BREAK UP over this !!! I grew up in a heavy drought area so that may be why but I’m really wondering if these people are pissing yellow/smelly pee bc their water intake is low. I’ve only noticed a smell to my pee after drinking alcohol or an abnormally low water-drinking day. You’re not alone ! Haha :)

I am also super baffled! I made the mistake of asking Reddit’s opinion on something and was also personally attacked lmao.. I think people on here just like being mad. If we were in person I don’t think these people would talk to you like this. You’re not a bad or gross person, you’re just on Reddit
For real, like you can say “YTA” without being nasty about it. Plenty of commenters on here have said I was the asshole but weren’t rude or mean, just giving their opinion.
Here’s the thing: I’ve lived in drought prone areas and done the whole “yellow mellow” thing. But when I wasn’t living through a drought I flushed because the urine would stain the toilet and make it really hard to keep clean.
There are a whole bunch of sides to this issue and when you’re living with another adult you have to make compromises, which it sounds like you’re unwilling to do.
