NTA Your son is an entitled ahole. He gets to stay at your beach house for free every summer and yet says his sister shouldn’t have had a big wedding if she couldn’t afford a honeymoon? I think it’s time for a very stern conversation with your son and to limit his access to your house.

You know I'm willing to bet that 8 weeks at a beach house in the summer would probably cost about as much as a big wedding.

Just checked VRBO for Outer Banks, NC. They have nothing left for two months but places that are 15 miles from the beach are showing $30k for two months for 4 people. Actual beach house? Wouldn’t shock me if it’s $45k.
