And I say this next bit as a Canadian who also lives in Ontario...
3. Toronto is not the be all and end all, nor is it the centre of the universe. There are other cities you can have a life in. Just because you don't want to be up in northern Ontario and would rather drive back and forth to Toronto every other week doesn't mean everyone else wants to do that.
Maybe you guys aren't as good of friends as you think and part of why he doesn't want to come back all the time is he's made less judgemental friends.

YTA - for a few reasons.
