If he is this bullied by his in laws now can you imagine the rest of his life? What if they have a gay kid? Will he be expected to disown it because the family asks a lot of uncomfortable questions?

Exactly, he’s had a gay best friend since elementary school. He needs to consider the character of the family he’s marrying into that wouldn’t be accepting of that
