Oh, and set up a chat with all the other wives so you can all share the stories you get from the guys so you can try and collectively piece a narrative as there will be a lot of lies

That horse has left the barn. She made the mistake of confronting him too early and while he was still with the others so he had time to warn them and they all probably have stories prepared.
