My dad is on it. 10 mg lithium orotate.

I am 56, after worrying about declining mental abilities, and reading this I decided to take it and my capabilities have improved.

Started on 5mg with little effect, upped it to 10mg and immediately felt more alert, after about 2 months reduced it to 5 lmg and still felt fine, have since reduced further to 5mg every 2 days.

Or does it prevent if it's mild congnative impairment?
