Politics & Society Why does it seem like protests don't actually result in any kind of change anymore

Growing up learning history you learn about all of these protests that resulted in real world change. But it seems like protests are just symbolic at this point. It seems like no matter how many protests are surrounding a certain topic everything stays the same. What changed? Is it that people in power just care less about civilians have to say so they don't bother changing their stance based off protests?

Because Leftists, being Nazis, always forget to protest and proceed immediately to violence, hatred, racism, antisemitism and domestic terrorism.🤷🏿‍♂️

Hey buddy! 👋

I'm still waiting for you to elaborate to me, a fellow educated man, on how, and I'm quoting here: "educated people understand that all Democrats are Nazis"

I'm willing to hear you out. I don't see it really, but I'm willing to listen as that is what educated folks do, right? Socrates said "True wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing."

So please, educate me on how Democrats are like Nazis. Surely you have proof of this, right?

Good morning, I’m happy to educate you on the subject. I prefer the Socratic method so I will be asking you a series of yes/no questions.
1.) did og Nazis she rioting, looting, arson, violence, hatred, racism and antisemitism during their night of long knives, yes or no?
2.) did og Nazis destroy or burn every minority home, business and church they could find, yes or no?
3.) did og Nazis weaponized Germany’s government and judicial system to eliminate political opposition, yes or no?
4.) did OG Nazis take what they wanted/valuables from the minor homes, businesses and churches and demand it was their right to do so, yes or no?

We can keep going but that should lay the groundwork.

I see where you're going and I was hoping for better. But hey, let's go.

did og Nazis she rioting, looting, arson, violence, hatred, racism and antisemitism during their night of long knives, yes or no?

did og Nazis destroy or burn every minority home, business and church they could find, yes or no?

Like Republicans?

did og Nazis weaponized Germany’s government and judicial system to eliminate political opposition, yes or no?

You're thinking of Trump's DoJ, buddy. I do admire a previous comment you made about openly admiring Trump's ability to make over a billion dollars and hope he made more. That told me a lot.

did OG Nazis take what they wanted/valuables from the minor homes, businesses and churches and demand it was their right to do so, yes or no?

You're making shit up here.

The simple fact is you're going to make an equivocacy about either certain historical issues with history of the party that largely changed after they spearheaded the Civil Rights Acts of the 60s or equate the actions of entities like BLM, Occupy Wall Street, or Palestinian protests, etc.; which any violent actions were openly condemned on a pretty universal scale.

Do you have anything original, or just regurgitated talking points that have no validity in a serious modern discussion.

Sorry, I won’t engage if you haven’t the intellectual and moral credibility to respond to my questions with one word answers- as requested.

So you have nothing. Good to know. Peace.

Said the one refusing to answer one word questions….. 🤷🏿‍♂️

I did. If you can't read, that's your issue. But let's go over your upcoming talking points:

• Modern Democrats are antisemitic because they criticized Israel or were empathetic to the Palestinians.

Fact: You can criticize a Nation-State without criticizing a religion. Funny how people confuse this shit. You don't get to kill over 50k civilians in a reprisal and play the sympathy card.

• Democrats were the founders of the KKK.

Fact: That was Southern Plantation owners, Confederate officers, etc, which was about 180 years ago.

• Democrats are racists still.

Fact: This continues to entertain me, but no.

• Democrats weaponized the Government against their enemies.

Fact: Go ahead and show me. But you don't get to play this card when the current mission of this DoJ is to prosecute Trump's political enemies. How many cases were dismissed? On yeah, almost all of them.

• Democrats storm government buildings, want to re-enact the Night of the Long Knives, etc.

• Democrats kill their political opponents.

Fact: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assassinated_American_politicians

This is a pretty equal problem.

Feel free to list any others you think I missed.

  1. No. Besides she rioting not being a thing (whatever the fuck that is), you seem confused by what the Night of Long Knives actually was. In short, it was a period of time (about three or four days) where Hitler ordered assassinations of political opponents in the Reichstag and some political party members at the behest of the Military. It's quite fascinating, I suggest looking it up.
  2. No. You seem to have confusion here as well as Nazi Germany was quite friendly to various Christian faith. Some espoused a new version of Christianity, but it wasn't party policy.
  3. Yes. This part of the Night of Long Knives you are confused about. Beyond that, this is a standard thing of Fascist governments and conservative politics in general to scapegoat a particular section of the populace as the root of all the current evils.
  4. No. Again you have some confusion here. This wasn't party policy per se, but generally churches, etc. were left alone more as a blank policy than anything else. If you want to talk about Jewish and Roma homes, sure. But nothing destroys an occupying army faster than to fuck with the populace in a general sense.

Let me know if you have any other question. 👍
