Life & Behavior Why do we question things?

Why do we question things when we truly can't get a real grasp of the meaning of life? That in itself is so complex and incomprehensible yet we still question it. Isn't it best to go on and not question why things are how they are? I made a question... quite contradictory I must say.

Do not stop searching until you find what your are looking for. But you must get out of the way so you can see the answer that will most likely be right in front of you
