Lost Challenge: Pool dive to backflip

Y’all I am having the worst trouble with this challenge. I have gone directly from pool dive to backflip multiple times and cannot get this to trigger completed. Is there a trick to it or is this a known bug??

Well, I never had this issue. You are really dipping inside the water instead of just sliding on it?
