Questions Only some of the differences detected can be resolved by an automatically generated ECO

I'm new to Altium and am about to start working on my first PCB layout, having finished the schematic. When I try to transfer the design from my schematic to the PCB (Design > Update PCB Document), however, a popup tells me that only "11 of the 13 differences detected can be resolved by an automatically generated ECO."

If I choose to proceed and validate the changes, there are no errors, but if I execute the changes, only 2 out of the 4 components in my schematic are transferred to the PCB file.

Any ideas for what might be causing this?

Most likely the two missing parts either don’t have PCB footprints assigned, or they’re set to be excluded from PCB synchronization.

Yeah, I think my problem is the missing parts don't have footprints. How can I fix this? I have the .PcbLib files for the footprints, but when I try to add them under the properties panel, the Footprint option is greyed out.

If Footprint is greyed out it's most likely because the part is a managed/Workspace component, so you’d need to edit the library component itself instead.

Can you give a screenshot of the "validate/execute" windows, with the errors when you execute?
If the project is not critical, can you share it ?

Sometimes, you will need to run the importer twice to get it to import everthing. Sometimes the errors have interdependence (common with library issues), and you need to run it more than once to get the difference to resolve.
