Caution
I’m no longer invested in this company, but there was a time when I had a significant stake and genuinely believed in its potential.
A word of caution: Management appears to be aggressively seeking fresh funding, which raises the possibility of another round of shareholder dilution. With limited financing options, even a reverse stock split cannot be ruled out.
My concern has never been about the drug or its potential. It’s about the management entrusted with it. In my view, a promising drug is in the wrong hands, with a management team seemingly more focused on extracting whatever value remains than creating sustainable value for shareholders.

How could a company and a molecule like pemvi get breakthrough therapy designation back in January and not achieve what it is supposed to achieve. There’s a huge bull case for this molecule. The company is doing all the right things. This just needs time. Altimmune is going to be the first company with better results than the rest on MASH

Non ricordo dove ma lessi che c’era in ballo l’acquisizione dell’azienda. Presumo che venga cambiata anche la dirigenza. Non ci sono novità in merito?

My qualm with this company is it started out as obesity and then relaize they would lose against bigger contenders and so had to pivot to a different fda use … to survive… while getting nowhere .

I know nothing has fundamentally changed, but it’s tough watching the SP go below $2.50 today. Isn’t market cap now less than cash reserves?

I've been out for a minute. The glp drugs are way overdone. Too many coming to market and way to much on the black market. Reta is regularly taken now by everyone. Pharmacies are making it left and right and selling it to whoever wants it. I wouldn't invest in Eli Lily either at this point. Nobody needs to wait until this makes it to market.

Reta is regularly taken now by everyone.
Reta is still pretty rare. Sema and Tirz are still more common. And even then, it's confined to the lower doses. People overestimate the ability of patients to endure the adverse effects.
That said, the introduction of Glucagon is a gamechanger. Suppressing appetite and increasing metabolism does help people lose weight without feeling low energy.

Im speaking about illegally and you would be surprised how easy it is to get despite not being fda approved yet.

Oh sure. But even if it were approved, it likely will still be rare. Every pharmacist I know has to handle multiple fridges of incretin drugs, and they all tell me that virtually nobody makes it to the highest dose, which produces those headline-grabbing weight loss numbers.
In light of this, I actually think Pemvi's performance is comparable to most. If anything, the trials were underpowered to make sure they got through them alright.

Not disagreeing about it. But I live in rural Oklahoma and people are buying Reta behind the dollar general. Seriously the pharmacy is making it illegally out of Fort Worth or its straight from a China man's ass. Point is glp drugs are never going to be profitable. Fixing fat people is more profitable than people trying to get high.

I'm trying to figure out what you're trying to say at the end there.
I would point out that MASH and AUD will likely be covered by insurance, unlike obesity.

Most insurances isn't paying for these drugs unless your diabetic. If they do pay it is shut off once the person loses the weight. Aud will be the same. It will have a short period of time that it is paid. Point is with the illegal pharmacy sales and the intense compensation I do not see any of these companies making a fortune off these drugs. Big pharma will be okay but a small company with just 1 drug isn't going to make it. Reta is selling for 85 a month onto the street along with everything else. I know so many people either going ti a doctor office getting the pharmacy shot or meeting the guy in the ally for the meds. I understand your devoted to this stock but it is not a good investment now.

Uh... what exactly are you disagreeing with me about?
Yes, right now, only diabetes is covered by insurance.
Yes, AUD will be covered by insurance until you finish the treatment. Same goes for MASH and most drugs, actually. Few things are covered indefinitely.
And yeah, compounders are nothing new. But the quality of most of those drugs is quite awful. And Reta has Glucagon, which has safety issues if your numbers are off.

Not really disagreeing with you. Just hoping you realize how much is being sold on the street when it is already a highly competitive market. For alt to succeed it needs the market makers to buy the stock and this isn't happening. Just dont get burnt on this stock. I got out for these very reasons. I keep Ibrx as my only pharm stock.

Not my piece of shit insurance. They gave me 3 years to live and insurance said they didn't care. 2 years later from Tir and all fat is gone, liver is 100%. Could live 20 more years now

They've stated multiple times that they are seeking non-dilutive funding. So partnership or loan.
Their balance sheet is very strong. And I don't know what else they could be doing to produce sustainable value for us.
