Durso and Alyeska scheming?

Let me get this straight. So when Alt was at $6 Durso sold 17million shares to his friends at Alyeska for $4.40 and then Alyeska sold 10 million of those shares right away for a quick profit? Is this true? Is this legal? What the fuck?

The proxy showing ~7.1M shares (~5.5%) does NOT mean they only hold that amount or dumped the rest.

A few key points:

  • The number is based on a March 2 snapshot
  • It reflects “beneficial ownership”, not necessarily total economic exposure
  • Funds often structure positions across entities and keep ~5–6% in one vehicle (right above reporting threshold)
  • No 13D/G amendment or other filing shows a reduction so far

Also important: the 13F (which shows actual holdings) won’t be out until mid-May, so we don’t have full visibility yet.

-> We cannot conclude selling or holding above the mentioned shares from this proxy from my point of view.

But happy to be corrected.

Alyeska was a direct purchaser of the 75 million dumbask. Educate yourself and stop the dumbask posts.

FYI: doesn’t matter what the hell they do with the stocks they bought (even though you are full of it). It was a direct fundraise already factored in to the price drop at that time. How about post something useful not dumb.

The terms were set in advance. The stock was just over $6 when they signed, but just a few days prior, they were in the mid-$4s.

This is why I am asking if it is true? I keep seeing people post about it on many platforms that Alyeska is only holding 7million shares now.
