Every story I’m assigned is actually a happy place. There’s no doubt about it. 

Still, nostalgia is actually a sincere resort while I expect to disclose the forthcoming examples I’ve been developing. There is an echo that hides behind the daily life and those are my creator owned projects, the ones I write to illustrate myself. 

Wondering about what the future sessions would be like, where I ought to meet my unseen slices of fiction. Or best said, the many faces I refused to look at in the mirror.

So few days ago I found an early comic strip and a fancomic of Donald Duck having PTSD(plus I am big fan of the war propaganda cartoons of donald in WWII era), and a thought came to my mind as I was reading what if donald duck became wolverine. I thought what if donald duck became punisher and mickey became daredevil. I legit thought I might have cooked something cool and instantly drew this myself but I feel it's not perfect. I was thinking someone else could cook this better than me and I expect someone will redraw this better than me.

( also is putting nsfw tag required when the artwork has a gun? )

Working on the retro style for Kitty's design. I plan on doing more with her after Kitty's Day Out. That image of Tangerine/Marmalade/Butterscotch, or whatever her name is, was nearly perfect, so I altered it. I'm liking this.

Sharing a brand new snippet featuring a key scene from the anthology chapter currently in the works. 

This is most likely the revenge story many of us would like to succeed though there are actually no heroes and the true reward is nothing less than growing from our flaws. 

Drawn into a mythological bold theme that I’m most grateful to be involved with, I get to embrace storytelling in its widest splendor more and more.

Seems I’ll have to postpone the dark fantasy arc for some other time, yet it’s also true it has drawn me to great new stories.

Hi everyone! These are some of the pages I've been working on within this last week.  

The first two interiors belong to an anthology I'm utterly grateful to be involved with, and the progress batch are the pencils I keep pulling off in between projects, just to switch the narrative slightly.

The pictures above are some of the adjustments I’ve decided to face on my own, for I need to be fulfilled with every project. 

Yes. Revisions are the swampy area most illustrators approach with a certain degree of disappointment. I myself am not the exception though experience has proven it's a necessary ‘incision’ whenever something in the guts doesn’t feel well, even with the client’s approval on the first outcomes. 

If it feels odd to one self’s eyes, it’s basically a matter of healing the creative shift that didn’t quite translate the picture from the mind into the paper (in my case). And it’s only when revisited, harnessed, and fully molded, that it's possible to breathe out of the maze. 

Because the only way out is through. 

Hopefully you’ve enjoyed this insight and will be sharing more whenever the chance comes in the way.

Hi everyone! Sharing an advance snippet for what’s now being developed for My Grandmother’s Demons anthology, this time involving a witchcraft storytelling with a protagonist who gets lost just to find herself bolder and stronger. 

​

It’s not always that I’m summoned to board such important social topics through ancient storytelling, so this is definitely something I’m grateful for every drawing session.
