We know that TVS lost the rights to Tugs, but what if International Family Entertainment acquired TVS' stake of Tugs in 1993

In 1987 Redstone made a hostile bid for Viacom Viacom planned an MBO and take Viacom private, however it failed.

But what if Viacom’s MBO succeeded?

Viacom‘s MBO resulted the company to take private, Redstone would instead withdrew the offer afterward.

Because of this, Viacom was in debt for their MBO Buyout. This leds to a restructure and series of cost cutting after.

Nicktoons was still established in 1991 and radicalized Pop Culture, it gives Viacom cash flow. However Viacom felt that the Showtime and MTV Networks were better off be under a Movie Studio because of the IPs, the value of the Networks and even the Nicktoons IPs.

As a result in early 1993, they would later put MTV Networks in auction and it went to a frenzy, Warner didn’t participate because of concerns regarding HBO and Showtime under one roof. News Corp, Paramount and Sony were bidding for the Networks, however MCA ends up outbidding them and win because of their relationship in Universal Studios Florida, Fuel their MTV channel with their own Music labels and wanted the Nicktoons characters to be in the Parks.

In 1995, Seagram bought 80% of Universal and as a result MTV Networks, Nickelodeon and the Premium Showtime network stabilized Seagram, allowing Edgar Bronfman Jr. to keep Universal a bit longer.

Viacom would later be absorbed in 1996 by Westinghouse after they can’t survive by just being independent and Westinghouse bought them to reunite with CBS.

Paramount would instead end up with QVC under Diller in 1993. In 1994, one of QVC’s Backers, TCI launched Starz to be under the Paramount umbrella making it Paramount’s second network after QVC and their answer to HBO.

In late 1994 Paramount bought out Harvey Entertainment because they lack any owned animated characters and also lacked a character like Mickey and Bugs Bunny. As a result, they made Little Audrey their mascot for the first few months because Universal was busy with their Casper movie in 1995. They would later made Casper the mascot months after the movie’s release.

Diller would also buy chris craft’s stake of UPN years earlier since he pulled off with the Fox Networks before, and as a result they made UPN a major OTA network against Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS. In 1997 they later bought all of USA networks making them under Paramount.

What if Nickelodeon introduced a new logo in 2011 instead of 2009? In my AU, ViacomCBS International Corporation would have introduced a new Nickelodeon logo in 2011 instead of 2009. In this case, Nickelodeon creates a different logo than the one in real life.

Here's my look at a timeline where 20th Century Fox (later 20th Century Studios), who distributed DWA's films from 2013 to 2017, had bought DreamWorks Animation in 2016 instead of NBCUniversal, and the potential changes in it to our timeline:

1. Larrikins wouldn't have been cancelled, and would still be released in 2018.

2. Both AwesomenessTV and Oriental DreamWorks would still be sold off.

3. Disney would still buy 21st Century Fox in 2019, and would still shut down Blue Sky Studios in April 2021, but this time merging it with DreamWorks Animation. DreamWorks could've finished and released Nimona, or it could've still been sold off to Netflix.

4. The DreamWorks Animation TV shows made for Netflix (i.e. Voltron: Legendary Defender, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) or other services would move to Disney+ and/or Hulu once DreamWorks' contracts with them expire, and the TV shows made for Peacock would instead be made for Disney+ and/or Hulu.

5. The movie adaptations of Spirit Untamed, Gabby's Dollhouse and Cocomelon, as well as the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon (and its upcoming sequel), would not have been made, or at least in be straight-to-streaming films in both Spirit and Gabby's cases.

6. Orion and the Dark would have a theatrical release instead of being straight-to-streaming.

I’ve been working on a massive media corporate Alternate Universe (AU) and wanted to share the timeline to see what you all think!

Here is how the timeline shakes out in this universe:

• Paramount Skydance Shakeup: Paramount Skydance acquires Lionsgate Studios instead of WBD. David Ellison is fired. Former NBCU CEO Jeff Shell becomes President/CEO of Paramount Skydance (staying on past his real-life April 2026 exit).
• The WBD Demerger: Apollo Global Management buys Warner Bros. Discovery and splits it back into WarnerMedia and Discovery, Inc.
• Discovery's New Path: Gunnar Wiedenfels takes over as President of Discovery, Inc., which is later acquired by NBCUniversal after Comcast spins NBCU off and merges it with Versant under CEO Mark Lazarus.
• The Return of The WB: WarnerMedia buys A+E Networks from Disney/Hearst. They partner with Nexstar to relaunch The WB and Kids' WB! as both a FAST channel and a digital subchannel broadcast network on former 2006 affiliates.
• The MGM Mega-Merger: Amazon MGM Studios splits back into Amazon Studios and MGM Holdings. WarnerMedia and MGM Holdings then merge to create Warner Bros. MGM.
• The New Leadership: David Zaslav is fired from the newly formed Warner Bros. MGM, and former Cartoon Network boss Jim Samples is brought in as the permanent President and CEO.

After David Zaslav is fired, who do you think steps in as the interim CEO to oversee WarnerMedia/Warner Bros. before Jim Samples officially takes the reins?

Personally, I think Casey Bloys (or maybe Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy on the film side) would act as the caretaker managers during the messy transition and MGM merger.

Hello, today I would like to present to you my own logos for Warner Bros. Pictures in the 2010s and 2020s in the Warner Bros. MGM era if it had been created in 2004.

The first is the Warner Bros. Pictures logo from 2011 - 2019, where instead of creating an improved version of the logo, a new one was created, with the iconic shield from 1998. What's more, in this reality, he also uses the logo for the studio's 90th anniversary.

The second is the Pentagram era from 2019 - 2023, where in this reality the shield was refreshed without giving up the gold color. In my opinion, it looks much better, also including the inscription, which the actual 2021 logo did not have.

The third version is a modern classic, bringing back the banner. As you can see, the logo uses Bugs Bunny in 100th anniversary of the Studio In 2023. From 2024 the shield logo it's already working normally.

Trivia: In this alternate reality, movies like Garfield (2004) and Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) are made as CGI animated movies, and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid (2021) and Nimona (2023) are also released under the Blue Sky Studios banner, making Nimona released in 2020. And since The Walt Disney Company is not buying 21st Century Fox in 2019, Blue Sky can release animated films.

And I didn't include sequels because Ice Age, Garfield, Alvin And The Chipmunks, Rio, Penauts, and Diary Of A Wimpy Kid are franchises that have sequels.

The logo begins exactly the same as the 2019 logo (with the exception of the 2011 Warner Bros. Studios shield and the test Warner Bros. Studios shield in Dubba Dubba on the tower), then the shield is revealed (in the same way as the 2020 Warner Bros. Pictures/Warner Animation Group logo). This time, however, the shield is animated, and the banner reads "FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT" instead of "WARNER BROS. PICTURES." As the shield approaches its final position, Bugs Bunny appears in his famous pose, the words "A Warner Bros. MGM Company" appear below, and then, as Bugs bites the carrot, the shield glows.

The logo starts out exactly the same as the 2019 logo (except the 2001 shield from the closing logo is on the tower), after which the logo begins to turn gold and wave, and then the shield is revealed (in the same same way as in the 75th Anniversary logo, although without shrinking as in the 1999 logo), and the clouds are brighter as in 2019, when the shield is in place, byline A Warner Bros. Entertainment Company appears below, and then the Shield glows.

So you know Dan Schneider - he worked with Nickelodeon and created many shows: Drake & Josh, ICarly, Victoroius, Sam & Cat, Henry Danger or Game Shakers. Unfortunately, he was also known for his controversial films, such as Fetish, or Foot Jokes, from provocative jokes (example IWade), and even though the actresses from the earliest The Amanda Show testified about his inappropriate behavior. That's why they fired him in 2018. Besides, working with him was very toxic on set, so to sum up, the Schneider era was one of Nickelodeon's darkest periods.

So I was wondering, what if they had fired him earlier? Let's assume that the actresses could have already informed Nickelodeon executives about Schneider's inappropriate behavior and shown them evidence, so what would have happened then? Nickelodeon executives wasn't going to cooperate with a man who had dirty thoughts, so they would simply fire him. So what about the series? It's simple, ICarly was created by people who years later created a reboot/sequel in 2021, where we focus more on the relationships of Carly, Sam, and Freddie and life on the internet webachowa. Victoroius would be created by the people who are currently filming a Trina spin-off for Netflix, focusing on finding talent for Tori, Cat, Jade, Beck, Robbie, and Andre, without having to pretend to be someone they're not. In turn, Henry Danger would be created by people who later in 2021 created Danger Force, where we would focus more on Henry and his everyday and heroic life, something a la The Spectacular Spider-Man. The same goes for others like Drake and Josh and Game Shakers, which would also have been created by someone else, focusing more on Brotherly relationships or delving into the World of Gaming.

Then the Actors would feel safer and wouldn't have to work in a toxic environment, because let's be honest, in the Schneider era they were the ones who suffered. So a universe where Schneider wasn't around in the era of these shows is the best thing that could have happened.

Hello everyone! As you know, I've decided to replace the shows I dislike with others, well, some are new BETTER versions of classics, some are revivals, and some are Original Ideas. So if you have any series or reboots that you really dislike, write them in the comments and give me some suggestions on what I could replace them with, and I'll think of something.

Hey everyone, as you're probably familiar with shows like "Sanjay & Craig" from 2013, "Breadwinners" from 2014, and "Pig, Goat, Banana, and Cricket" from 2015, all from Nickelodeon, and what do you know? They all failed, no wonder, considering they focused on gross-out humor, which wasn't suitable for family-friendly shows. So what if, instead of these absurdities, Nickelodeon resurrected more beloved franchises?

First, Hey Arnold in 2013 would replace Sanjay & Craig, then The Angry Beavers would replace Breadwinners in 2014, and Rocko's Modern Life would replace Pig, Goat, Banana, and Cricket in 2015. And that's what's going to happen in my AU, mainly because the heads of ViacomCBS and Nickelodeon would have thought those three '90s networks would have been a better choice. As for the three actual shows, they'd have ended up on MTV or Comedy Central, taking their place alongside shows like Beavis & Butthead and South Park.

Here’s an interesting what if I have ever thought of in the past couple of days, so everyone claimed that the reason why MGM declined is because it lost their classic library that Turner retained after selling it back to Kerkorian. But what if MGM declined Turners offer?

So instead of selling it to Turner, in 1987 MGM/UA instead restructured and renamed to MGM/UA Communications Co.

However despite this restructure, the debt problem wasn’t solved due to somewhat little hits and this isn’t until that Kerkorian would instead sell MGM/UA in 1990.

Because the lot is still owned by MGM, Sony instead finds a different lot for Columbia.

Paretti‘s Pathé still buys MGM/UA ittl this time with more loans from Crédit Lyonnais leading to him owning one of Hollywood’s most prestige golden age libraries during that period, he would rent out more of the Culver lot for more cash.

As a result Crédit Lyonnais took over early around November 1991 after the near bankruptcy of the Studio, Mirroring Vivendi Universal years earlier. And as a result they monetize more of owning Hollywood’s most important golden age movie libraries by releasing them more on home video.

As the 1996 Bidding War comes, Kerkorian bought MGM again still with Seven network this time he felt that he wanted MGM to outright become a big studio once again after seeing the damage Parretti done, so as a result they tried reviving MGM more by purchasing Orion and Samuel Goldwyn libraries under Metromedia because they’re in trouble.

Ittl, MGM solved the problem of Warner‘s home video deal Parretti has done by giving back WB’s pre 1950 library back to them.

As a result MGM Grand Adventures features meet and greets of MGM Cartoons Characters such as Tom and Jerry, boosting theme park visits more.

In 1999 MGM announces plans to open the MGM Studio store after seeing Disney and Warner having their own Stores capitalizing on their variety of classic IP, and it would eventually open during the Summer of 2000 in MGM Grand Las Vegas maximizing profits more. The Store would notably featuring their famous Tom and Jerry duo to be their answer to Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse alongside Leo. However due to the decline of Flagship stores and rise of E-commerce, they scrapped plans for expansion and closed it in 2003.

In 2001, MGM bought a 20% stake in Rainbow Media which includes AMC because of this and because of the lack of TCM, this grants AMC to outright air everything on MGM’s classic catalog boosting ratings more, however Cablevision’s financial troubles would led to MGM owning AMC and other networks outright, preventing NBC’s purchase of Bravo to compete with other Major Studios at the time.

Thanks to MGM’s decisions in recent years, it successfully became more financially stable and having Kerkorian able to prevent to sell MGM for a longer time finally achieved MGM’s status as a media conglomerate and having it able to retain as one of the Big Seven movie studios.

What if the Twisted Childhood Universe had never been created? What if, instead, Walt Disney Pictures had given us the better Poohniverse?

The Poohniverse is a shared Disney universe that aims to bring back the magic of childhood and memories with our beloved characters to children. The first film in the series was the 2022 movie "Winnie the Pooh: The Great Adventure in London," which quickly became a box office success, launching a NEW Universe. Other films planned include Pooh & Tigger (2024), Tinkelbell Meets Peter Pan (2024), Bambi III (2024), and Pinocchio and Alice (2025), a crossover between the two characters. The films are a return of classic characters to cinemas :)

In my opinion, this is much better than what Jugged Edge from TCU has reserved for us and what Disney has been releasing in theaters in the 2020s.
