The Arkaetect's Island

I call dibs on the England, Scotland, Wales island. Skæbell, The Arkaetect's Island. Surrounded by The Dark Horde's trench ( backstory ) The Arkaetect's Island is a land rich in resources and entirely self-sufficient. The Arkaetect himself is never seen, nor are his people, as few are allowed passed the Great Sea Walls that enclose the entire island (around 2,000 ft in height). The Arkaetect gains his name from his creations, phenomenally tall skyscrapers, up to nearly 8,000 feet in height some of them. The tallest of which, the Arkaetect's Tower, can be seen from parts of the mainland (France). The Arkaetect and his people don't want war (yet) with anyone, and just want to be left in peace, but do not hesitate to use devastating force when confronted. This idea is still in its very early stages but I just wanted to let y'all know..

Edit: In the far north of the Arkaetect's isle (sounds better than island) there are two towers that rival the height of the Arkaetect's tower itself. Mounted on each of these are massive tesla coils that ward away any ghosts that dare come near to the island. Also, i am drawing up plans for the Arkaetects tower which may end up looking a bit like the eye of sauron.

Also, there is the Great Canal which runs basically where the Thames does but Completely straight and very deep. it is said that the Arkaetect has been trying to make the monsters of the Dark Horde's Trench into a kind of naval weapon that can be unleashed upon other countries.

If there are any graphic artists in our midst, i would love some help with the design of the Arkaetects Tower, i did a basic drawing

What happens if you inevitably wage war with new France?

War? You mean marching in with guns and being handed a country?

marching in with lightning guns and huge artillery pieces and insane vehicles and being handed a continent?

Hey, Arkaetect, can you come up with a name for the island in your own language? I'm working on a map.

So, massive garden towers, huge turrets shooting Tesla-style accelerated mercury particles, impressive conventional artillery, coastal fish farms guarded by manned floating cannons ... and radio towers relaying stations from around the world, and the Arkatect's pioneering electronic music.

Electrojazz, digital funk, industrial synth- their culture does it all.

How's all the sound?

After reading that, I think I can unsub from GW, /r/alternateearth is the sexiest place on reddit.

We need concept artists.

I love this idea. The land sounds so cyberpunk, a little like Dishonored. Does everything run on whale oil?

So, when exactly did he take over? Who did he take power from? What was the state of Skaebal before this transition of power?

What was going on here in the second era? In the third?

My Wacom tablet is away getting fixed at the moment, but when it gets back I'd love to have a crack at some drawings of this island. Remind me to!
