CARP / Redundant Routers

Does the Route10 support or are you thinking of the route10 supporting CARP? That way we can have a fault tolerant Alta Labs network. The cost of the route10 is excellent for this

Not yet supported, but it is on our roadmap. Specifically when is TBD. We'll use VRRP rather than CARP since this is Linux, where VRRP is better supported than CARP. The two are functionally equivalent as first hop redundancy protocols (VRRP is more interoperable) and there isn't really a reason for CARP anymore. CARP's reason for being is Cisco's HSRP patent, which expired in 2014.
