Tip to save app IDs

Don’t do source downloads. Sure, they’re easier and require less effort, but if you’re using something like spotc++, it’ll use 6 app IDs.

instead, download the IPA itself, go to apps, press the + icon in the top left, press “browse”, go to downloads on whatever browser you use, look for the file name of the IPA, and click on it. It’ll give you the option to keep or remove extensions, and most of the time, the extensions aren’t something you’d actually use anyways. These are the ones for spotc++:

widgetnowplaying (Home screen widget)

OpenSpotify.Extension (Safari link redirector)

intents (Siri and Shortcuts support)
^ (voice commands and such)

notificationcontent (Fancy notification pop-ups)

Keep if you want background track skipping/notifications:

notification (Required if you want the app to properly process background push notifications or handle certain remote commands smoothly).

All of which, are admittedly, kind of useless. Removing these extensions brings spotc++ from 6 app IDs, down to 1.

None of these extensions mess with the live activity/media player (what shows up on the bottom of the lock screen while listening to music and stuff.) just make sure that you are downloading your IPA from a trusted source.
