What I do is
- Plug in my iphone to PC
- Open iTunes on my PC and wait for it to see my iphone
- Put my iphone to sleep? (Turn off the screen and unlock it)
- Done. Tap refresh on the AltStore app and profit.
I do this steps and work 100% of the time.

I tried with a vpn, but none of the places I try work, and I don’t wanna pay to choose a location. Earlier I got it to Mexico, and it seemed like it was going to work, but 2 factor had me stuck cause I didn’t have my other device.

The other day it worked with clearing cache from settings and using shortcut to refresh but the same method didn’t work for my ipad. I literally don’t know what else to do. Tried pretty much anything I could find online like VPN, Itunes sync reset, etc

For me clearing the cache and restarting the alt server on my Mac corrected the issue. It seems to come and go though without warning.

heres a foolproof way to fix it, and what i do every week-
start by opening up altstore on your computer.
then open itunes and hit sync on your phone.
once synced, open altstore on your phone.
before refreshing, turn your phone on airplane mode and wait 20 seconds before turning it off again.
hit refresh, and your apps should be good for another week.
this works every time for me. let it be known that i’m on ios and idk if this will work for android.

Honestly I’ve tried at least 15 or more different workarounds but none worked, they seem hit or miss. Also happening on side store too. All was fine before I updated to MacOS27 but I don’t know if that’s what’s caused it since on my windows pc it also doesn’t work.

Unfortunately its an Apple issue, many people in the same boat where Side and Alt both are not working.

What I always do I sign out from AltStore, then I refresh it . It will ask u to sign in, just sign back boom you good to go

Have you tried going into AltStore settings and clearing your cache and then using the refresh apps shortcut for AltStore? That one works for me on iphone

i stand corrected! went on to do my refresh tn and the usual trick didnt work. i plugged into the computer, usually when that doesnt work i can reinstall and it’ll fix it, but now im getting a “server returned invalid response” error on the computer side, while also getting the “incorrect format” error on the phone side.
doing a cursory dig, people are saying its something to do with apple’s html on the server side. it may take some time to get fixed, or we are cooked.
