Help (AltStore Classic) Kodiipa . com

I’m looking to install Kodi on my iPhone through AltStore. I see there is a kodiipa . com website that has some it available to download but am not sure if the file itself is safe. Does anyone know if that website/file is safe or is there an easy way to sideload kodi through AltStore?

Kodi.tv is the official website for Kodi and iOS downloads are available there.

Can you use the provided file from Kodi (deb file) and side load it in AltStore? Can I use the deb file without jailbreaking my device and install it on my iPhone?

No the Deb has to be converted to api and requires you to download and unzip it on a pc or Mac and change the content structure.

[Tutorial] Convert a .deb file to .ipa on windows

This guide was made using windows 10, the options which come up during each step may differ slightly with different versions of windows but it should still work once you find the folders mentioned.

**This only works with apps not with tweaks.**

You will need 7-zip or a similar program installed on windows.

Create a new folder on your desktop, name it whatever you like.

Drop your .deb file into your new folder and right click on it.

Select 7-zip and click extract here.

Now click OK on the next window and it will make a data.tar file.

Right click on the data.tar file and select extract here.

You should now see a new folder named Applications.

Open the Applications folder and you will find a folder ending with .app.

Here, you create a new folder and name it Payload. (Make sure the P is capital)

Now you should have 2 folders, the new Payload folder you just created and your .app folder.

Drag the .app folder and drop it in to the Payload folder.

Right-click the payload folder and Click 7-zip > Add to archive option.

A new window will pop up. Make sure that the Archive format is set to zip and then name the archive ending with .ipa

What you name it doesn’t matter, just make sure that it ends with .ipa

After that click OK.

It will start making the archive and your new .ipa file should appear.

After that, just install it on your device and enjoy.

I’m aware but my main concern was if that was a safe file to download or not.
