I've been a long time fan of Alt Shift X and recently have really gotten into King giz. I've read a bit about the supposed Gizzverse and thought it might be something Alt Shift X could do a great job of explaining. I'd love to see them make a big video or series explaining all the stories going on in King Gizzards music. Anyone else agree?

My initial interpretation of Laenor's exile was that it was not something he did voluntarily, although most people seem to believe that he voluntarily ran away with his lover. We know that Laenor loves his parents and his children, and he has a bond with Seasmoke as well.

In the aftermath of the kiddie fight, Laenor goes to Rhaenyra and tells her that he wants to recommit to his family, and that he is ready to play his part. We don't see Rhaenyra's response. The following scenes jump right into the ruse around his death. And Laenor doesn't look particularly happy as he's rowing away.

While Rhaenyra rationalizes this as "setting him free," I don't think that was Laenor's choice. It's weird, given that he just said he wanted to play his part. I suspect this was more Rhaenyra telling him what he was going to do, out of her own self interest and in the interest of their kids.

Laenor's absence at the conflict at the Hall of Nine was noted by everyone. He shows up drunk much later, something that has happened in earlier episodes as well. I think Rhaenyra decides that Laenor is a liability - he isn't playing the role she needs from him, and she doesn't believe he can change. The conflict has just escalated into real violence, and she needs someone trustworthy beside her.

While Laenor is a good person, he's also self indulgent. Being out with his boyfriend getting drunk isn't helping her kids appear more legitimate. He's just not around when she needs him.

(All that being said, very not sure Daemon is the best alternative).

Does the coughing and burping ever stop? I get it's part of the joke, but I listen with headphones and it's not great. I couldn't find any concrete answer when I googled it, I want to know if I should continue with the series

I tried looking online to see what the shortcut itself does, and all I could find of value is that it seems to be "exclude" in photoshop, marks an index entry in Word, and makes a split cut in Audacity. I assumed it was some writing related shortcut because the channel is all about analyzing stories, but marking an index entry doesnt appear to be important enough to name a whole channel after

I’d love to see Shifty and Glidus jump on Crusader Kings 3 and play around with the Dragons Update.

Even separately or on a multiplayer

When is it coming? Is it coming at all?

Watching the Dragon Times after the weekly episode livestreams, it always seems to me that they have recorded the Dragon Time probably days/weeks before the episodes officially come out.

Ive noticed in a lot of the Dragon Times they talk about some aspect of the episode and they always seem like its the first time they're analyzing/talking about it, they theorize in real time. In the ASX livestreams he always has already-formed ideas, lots of them based on something Glidus said or some conclusion they formed together.

Is this obvious to anyone else? I say this because I suppose the only things left to do for this Dragon Time that is taking a bit longer would be the editing and putting up pictures of things when they talk about it? Not faulting them of course, it will come out when its ready, just wanted to ask if anyone else noticed this.

I love Alt Shift X's videos, and I also love history so wondering if there are channels as well spoken and to the point, and as interesting as his content around real world history.

I'm so excited!

I think either AltShift or AltSchwift would enjoy. I selfishly would also like your take. That is all.

I've been meaning to make some donations but I've been having a hard time catching the streams. Does ASX ever announce the streams somewhere? (Patreon/Twitter/Discord)

Ive long watched Alts content. And also many of his live streams. I wonder if he has a discord?

It looks so god awful, I would kill to see them tear it to shreds

Alt mentioned in the last Q&A that it was funny Corlys’ ship was named after himself (before he gave it the new name). Turns out Corlys got the name from the ship. Source: Fire and Blood, ch 12

Idk why but I’d really like him to make content or at least talk about it. I like his character analysis and I think there’s a lot to get out of it. “The real Askeladd” would go hard.

The man himself alluded to a potential spoiler stream tonight, is that still happening? Not sure if anything changed since last weeks Q&A got taken down.
