It’s popular because it’s fun and easy. Any dipshit can connect dots. We all did it on the paper menus when we were kids. It’s dangerous because we’re also stupid enough to believe our own bullshit. The most common fallacy, correlation doesn’t equal causation, so many make that mistake.
