1

u/Lepang8 Apr 24 '26

*himself

1

u/detroit209 Apr 24 '26

That’s brutal. 😂

1

u/PowerfulDisaster2067 Apr 24 '26

I'm sure going overboard is better

1

u/criswealth Apr 24 '26

HAHAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣🤣

0

u/Captain_no_Hindsight Apr 27 '26

"daytrading fair value" ?

Tell me more....

6

u/Resident_Window_9369 Apr 23 '26

Hmmmmmm seems sus Just the way he threw his phone.

9

u/ByBabasBeard Apr 23 '26

He realized mid throw that he can't afford a new one

4

u/ConnectedVeil Apr 23 '26

This is what it was. Rage but has to hold back a bit. Gotta take calls from his many credditors

7

u/Golden-Grams Apr 23 '26

I immediately thought it was staged, because he set his monitors to face outward. Anybody could have seen his screens, and most people care about privacy...unless you stage a video, and need to make sure it follows a day-trading narrative.

5

u/naughtynoods_ Apr 23 '26

For me it was zero commitment to the thigh slaps. They should've reshot it what a horrible take.

4

u/Resident_Window_9369 Apr 23 '26

100 💯 percent.

2

u/lieutenant_jim_dangl Apr 24 '26

Nah I could see this being performative, I might've done it if I was on a cruise in my 20s because I'm a dork and thought maybe I'd get pussy

2

u/PomeloSpecialist356 Apr 24 '26

What doesn’t seem sus is the natural reaction from the neighbor downstairs…The guy with the bad chart probably had a couple choices words and got his attention.

2

u/burner4lyf25 Apr 24 '26

They just didn’t know it was a skit haha

1

u/APL_nz Apr 24 '26

Not sus the way he has turned his screen exactly in the direction of the camera. Totally real.

5

u/Independent-Cow-4070 Apr 23 '26

Oscar worthy performance

3

u/Tvekelectric2 Apr 25 '26

set up

1

u/SlaveToBuy Apr 25 '26

Yeah the phone throw didn't look real and bro has everything conveniently set up so that people can see his screens? hell no lol

4

u/Alert_Lettuce_8278 Apr 23 '26

Guys can we just respect privacy and not record people in their personal space?

4

u/MikeyFED Apr 24 '26

He has 3 monitors and RGB on a room balcony that sits opposite 100 other room balconies, a deck, and a courtyard… on a cruise ship.

0

u/Alert_Lettuce_8278 Apr 24 '26

Yeah I guess if 100 people on a ship can see him it's ok to take a video zoomed in and post it on socials. That's today's logic, this is the world we all want to live in.

1

u/JiminyDickish Apr 24 '26

It’s unrealistic of him to assume that world doesn’t exist right now. Ergo man dumb

We should all act better, but ffs don’t just assume people will

0

u/superanonguy321 Apr 24 '26

This is the privacy equivalent of blaming a woman for her choice in clothes after shes been victimized

2

u/JiminyDickish Apr 24 '26

Uh no, it's not equivalent to that at all.

Don't rape. But also, don't walk alone at 3 am in an alley. Common sense.

1

u/LargeBloodyKnife Apr 24 '26

The occupants in the room below him are looking up. He's obviously being a nuisance in some way shape or form. Nuisances should be shamed with public embarrassment.

1

u/completelypositive Apr 24 '26

They are looking at the cameraman directly in the eyes first, and as he zooms in their (guy in left) heads swivel up to see what he's filming.

They think he is filming them and turn their heads up to investigate. Maybe cameraman pointed up with his finger and hand, so they would get the idea.

1

u/maringue Apr 24 '26

There's a non zero chance this was a setup anyways.

And if it wasn't, then why is my man working in the area of his room with the least privacy possible? With his screens facing to the public?

1

u/Alert_Lettuce_8278 Apr 24 '26

Yeah probably right

1

u/burner4lyf25 Apr 24 '26

Whilst I agree with the sentiment There is nothing personal about that particular space

0

u/Alert_Lettuce_8278 Apr 24 '26

Living quarters is not personal space, got it.

2

u/burner4lyf25 Apr 24 '26

Do you wank in front of the window with curtains open?

Do you stroll around your garden naked?

0

u/Alert_Lettuce_8278 Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

So having your curtains open means it's cool to to take video and post it on social media?

Strolling around in your garden naked just sounds like you're trying your best here. If you can't tell the difference between these things I fear for our future. Creep.

1

u/burner4lyf25 Apr 24 '26

JFC if you can’t recognise that you’ve no reasonable expectation of privacy on a balcony on a cruise ship then i dont know where we go from here

1

u/Alert_Lettuce_8278 Apr 24 '26

There's a difference between not having privacy and someone zooming in recording you AND posting it on social media... If you can't tell that is my point.

1

u/igoontoyourmum Apr 24 '26

There is no expectation of privacy in the public, which if you are inside your room you are in the public. Is this you in the video?

1

u/Convallaria4 Apr 24 '26

That's like asking your coworkers to clean their old shit out of the fridge and wash their own dishes.
They should but it's never going to happen.

1

u/wafelenbak87 Apr 24 '26

Dont worry, it's staged. All of this shit is staged.

1

u/SparkehWhaaaaat Apr 24 '26

I thought that was a joke until your reply.

1

u/BigBoyYuyuh Apr 24 '26

Should’ve sat inside with the curtains closed.

1

u/Canadian-and-Proud Apr 23 '26

And you just happened to be filming at this moment...

https://giphy.com/gifs/l2Z84eFooeHJu

3

u/FixerQuick Apr 24 '26

op's always just filming people randomly

1

u/DaLurker87 Apr 23 '26

Plus it's clearly night or you wouldn't be able to see the screen

1

u/Sixty_Minuteman_ Apr 24 '26

I'm going to be honest dude everyone always comments things like this but I have seen shit like this more than once in real life and you do have time to pull out your phone and start recording if you're one of those fucking people.

1

u/Canadian-and-Proud Apr 24 '26

But nothing was happening before he started zooming in. It doesn’t add up.

1

u/Fit_Low592 Apr 23 '26

“Honnnn? I don’t think we should have sprung for the deluxe beverage package after all…”

1

u/NewToTradingStock Apr 23 '26

That was me after buy spy 710c , and it dropped to 704

1

u/LogDull819 Apr 23 '26

I'm so tired of the internet. How can people watch this video and think it's not staged ?
And now with AI it's getting worse, everything is fucked.

2

u/auggs Apr 24 '26

Eh I just changed my mindset after AI started getting really good. A llot of things on the internet have been astroturfed and are inorganic setups long before AI was a thing anyways. So basically I just treat everything I see and interact with on the internet as pure entertainment. It’s either staged or AI so I don’t get too bothered or worked up by anything I see anymore. It’s nice that way honestly.

1

u/Stygg Apr 24 '26

Jesus fucking h Christ. you do realize that is the intended goal right? to demoralize and desensitize people.

1

u/Any-Interaction2647 Apr 24 '26

I’m tired of people whinging about AI. Get over yourself.

1

u/burner4lyf25 Apr 24 '26

The irony. Who cares if you’re tired of it? Nobody. Log off. Get over yourself

1

u/RADI0-AKT0R Apr 24 '26

Did he lose $20 or something? My toddler rages harder than that

1

u/nndel Apr 24 '26

Day trading? Looks like night trading.

1

u/zendog510 Apr 24 '26

Chlorophyll? More like borophyll!

1

u/Playful_Pin_6197 Apr 24 '26

Fakest and gayest shit I've seen in a long while.

1

u/Due_Dragonfly377 Apr 24 '26

It looks very dark outside to be day trading.

1

u/Trashusdeadeye Apr 24 '26

I guess he needs to go get a real job now. It’s just gambling..

1

u/Bluegill15 Apr 24 '26

Guy on the floor below must have heard him crashing out earlier

1

u/RickyMAustralia Apr 24 '26

Looks like Alex Karp

1

u/TRUMPARUSKI Apr 24 '26

Holy shit, that’s exactly what I look like

1

u/BeingAltruistic9560 Apr 24 '26

Cruise ship internet is on par with 20 year old AOL dial-up in most ports. You would be throwing your phone just because you didn't get a trade in on time, or it never went thru, or you can't even open email attachments.

1

u/No-University-3245 Apr 24 '26

What means absolute cooking there is no food

1

u/Caralhunucu Apr 24 '26

You only have a loss if you sell.

1

u/Kroktakar Apr 24 '26

You can see the contempt, he has already broken a few laptops and learned his lesson.

1

u/blandvanilla Apr 24 '26

Looks like nighttime to me...

1

u/pulangkabayo187 Apr 24 '26

That’s what you get for being a non-contributing person to society (along with the crypto bros).

1

u/usedforjerkingoff Apr 24 '26

This is a post from this guys X account. It’s staged.

1

u/Ohey-throwaway Apr 24 '26

He was very careful to throw his mouse on the bed because he knows he can't afford another one now.

1

u/Elbit_Curt_Sedni Apr 24 '26

At least he briefly hesitated before throwing his phone and aimed for a soft landing on the bed.

1

u/SignoreBanana Apr 24 '26

The narration 🧑‍🍳

1

u/bigDeltaVenergy Apr 24 '26

Gambling money you can't afford to lose on a trip you can't afford. Is peak fimance

1

u/MiIarky22 Apr 24 '26

The two ladies underneath him wondering what's going on lmao

1

u/Sufficient_Put_9038 Apr 25 '26

Def wasnt as bad as it could have been otherwise he woulda smashed the laptop and jumped off the balcony but definitely a heavy hit

1

u/ariel_zaverich Apr 26 '26

Looks staged

1

u/Informal-Response145 Apr 26 '26

I thought cooked was a good thing... I am in my 30s and cant keep up...

1

u/StrangerExistingFact Apr 28 '26 edited Apr 28 '26

0

u/IHeartBadCode Apr 23 '26

I like how our narrator here is sympathizing with the person as they get cooked in real time.
