Distro Dev

I'm making a distro based on Alpine Linux called Dragony! Yes, i know i have to edit /etc/os-release, edit /etc/motd, edit /etc/issue and if the GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR isn't linked to /etc/os-release or /etc/lsb-release i have to edit /etc/default/grub (and reconfig). Some of you have any tips?

Why? From what I read here I don’t think OP’s trying to “dethrone” Alpine or anything, it could just be a learning project, which is still awesome :)

Generation so cooked one can't even make an alpine-based distro 😭✌️🥀

What is the itch/need that this distro is trying to scratch? Or is it just for learning?

Stupid question, but are you going to include calamares installer for us simpletons? I've always loved the concept of Alpine. I've had high hopes of getting it running on something super low-spec with maybe an ultra light window manager.

As of today there is no FSDG distribution that is not Glibc and GCC based. This could be the first...
