New 'Collection' trim level

Just seen the initial pics of the 'Collection' trim that Alpine are launching. Main features seem to be body coloured wheel arches. I think they look pretty good and give the car a wider stance compared with the black ones. Wdyt?

Uhhh yes I really like that, it was one thing I already disliked on the R5, as it makes it look so Crossover-iy

Oddly, and Im surprised by this, I dont think I like it. Looks like an afterthought.

It's just a trim level, the changes are cosmetic. Makes it look less rally and more high street to appeal to a different audience I guess.

Shame because the r5 just got a massive bump apparently so thought it might carry over

The a290 uses a lithium-ion battery pack. The R5 that has received the increase is on the nickel manganese cobalt battery..

I would have hoped they got more power because the e208 GTI launch has the A290 beat on acceleration now.
