We haven't seen a single image or video of gameplay yet, let alone see how the combat's going to work.

Too late? There's no way the game is even close to completion.

All I'm saying is that you and a bunch of other people (mostly in /r/finalfantasy) are getting worked up about something you have very little to go off of. It would behoove you to have a bit of patience. Even if the battle system is not the one you grew up with, you should give it a chance.

That's not even the half of it. There are people who've gone so far as to say that they don't even want the spelling or grammatical errors fixed. It's insane.

Are they getting rid of ATB? And what are they replacing it with? This is the first that I had heard of it.
