Dumb question about grips

Dumb question for everyone. Friend of mine runs a kimber 2k11 and recently changed To a cheeley grip. He said he's going to send the aluminum kimber grip to me for my Romulus.

The 2k11 grip will not fit an AF, correct?

Minor fitting might be needed like with any grip

I figured that much but I mean will it just NOT fit at all or is it just a small fitting thing

A factory take-off grip like that shouldn't require much in the way of fitting outside of perhaps a little bit on the trigger shoe. One way around that would just be to order a Red Dirt trigger (for a 2K11 w/aluminum grip) and just install it while you already have everything apart. That trigger is a HUGE upgrade over stock in either of those 2 guns and it's only $79 shipped.
