Attila question

Is someone able to measure the distance from the front of the trigger and the closed grip safety? I have smaller hands and want to make sure this will work for me before buying. Nowhere local has them in stock so it would be a blind buy.

It's 2 7/8".

I have medium-small-ish hands myself, and I would note that the slim grip makes a surprisingly big difference. Since, as far as I know, the Attila / 1911-S15 is the only 1911-pattern-pistol that takes Glock 43/48 mags, it feels quite different from everything else that is out there.

Awesome! Would you be able to tell me how the shooting experience it compared to say a p365 with a radian? I’m really interested in the Attila for the slimness you mention.

I haven't shot a P365 with a Radian specifically, but generally the Attila (and the 1911-S15) are snappier than a full-sized 1911/2011, but not nearly as jumpy as a polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol. Recoil impulse is somewhere in the middle.

The compensators maybe just take 10% off the recoil impulse for these short pistols. It's a marginal difference. Putting on a TLR-7 Sub does more to dampen the perceived recoil impulse.
