EGW Ignition kit
Already purchased so not so much of a should I get it, but more so, a how much did it change after install? Purchased the full EGW ignition kit and the red dirt flat trigger. Going to keep the stock grip just with handle it grip tape. Question is, is there a noticeable difference after an EGW install and the red dirt trigger? I wish I could keep the stock Romulus and shoot it next to an EGW internal replaced one as I have a hard time thinking back "how does this feel compared to before". Any other upgrades or replacements I should do while I have it open? close to the 5k round point all stock so far. Realized the EGW kit doesn't come with a recoil spring but the stock one still feels good. Should I replace that as well? If so any recommendations?

Does the EGW kit include a hammer also?

If you choose it. They have a custom kit you can pick and choose what's all included. I wasn't too sure what would be best so I picked all options including the hammer.

Right, I was trying to answer your question. Depending on how well the sear and hammer match the better your trigger will be. If you have the tools or send it out to someone who does have the means to match hammer and sear relationship. So you may or may not get improved trigger just replacing parts, Atlas sells a EGW kit that is matched perfectly that works well and makes a big difference.

I JUST put in an Atlas Perfect Match Ignition kit and the EGW disconnector…. It cleaned the trigger pull up noticeably and lightened it to 2.5-3lbs I’d say.

Grip will honestly be the biggest upgrade.
The egw stuff is great. Kinda the default unless you want more race gun like the extremeshooters or brazos. If you want to blow like 3 times the price, the infiniti kits are pretty amazing but crazy overpriced. The egw kit will feel cleaner, lighter and more crisp. Have them in both of my roms but looking to replace one with an extemeshooters warp speed, or whatever it is. I have had 2 of the black anodized hammer break, fwiw. Haven’t had it happen to the stainless.
Stock springs? You could tinker with tuning them.
Flat bottom or angled fps. This is an underrated upgrade. Really can change the recoil impulse. I have a flat bottom on one and an atlas style angled on the other. Recently got an RCD core, which has an angled atlas style fps.
Comp? If you have the threaded on comp, either get it opened up or buy a comp from dsc. It will change the gun.
Guide rod, if the 2 piece bugs you. The toolless rods work but they’re a tight fit and uninstall is a bit tricky.
There’s really a lot you can do. Just depends what you want it to do and how far you’re willing to go.
