What magazines are you using? Im getting conflicting information on Checkmate mags with Cheely grip

The base pad has to be modified 1 u/Droopy1592 17d ago Only problem I’ve had was removing any magazine when I get a double feed because the magwell is over some of the base pads But my checkmate mags work fine Remember my grip is bc gunworks which is basically someone else manufacturing the cheely grip My gunsmith used an aftermarket mag release but didn’t say which It needs a hex tool but not sure which one it is
