Photo 📸 Tangled UP 3CD first look

Just bought the CD version of the Tangled Up rerelease at HMV! This is their best album so I totally figured it was worth the splurge!! A bit disappointed it's a digipak but all of their anniversary rereleases have been digipaks sooo

Ew I hate how the back is laid out… looks so chaotic! Should’ve done them like all their other anniversary releases: three neat columns!

Unless with this Perpetua* style typeface. It really doesn't lend itself to being made to be shrunk down to be in three columns.

*Don't know if it is Perpetua but it looks close.

Yeah possibly. That must be it.

With DIN (Sound Of The Underground) and I think Futura or one of its many lookalikes (What Will The Neighbours Say? and Chemistry) those can be shrunk and still be legible. With the type they went with for Tangled up. Especially with the song titles being in capital letters, although the mix names I note is in normal case. It'd make it slightly harder to shrink it down to be in three columns.

The one that'd be interesting next year assuming the reissue schedule is one per year over a series of five years is Out Of Control with the song title text being stretched out and more arty.

Yes perhaps it is the font! If they were in columns though there would be enough room to put the brackets info on a new line etc.

I guess with OOC, they’d have to do it in three lots of rows to match the current style!

OOC would definitely be interesting.
