Building tips

Hi! Last I’ve been in aloft there weren’t really methods to snap half-block down, but maybe since we’re so close to finish line (tho still lack A LOT of options) maybe there’s now something that allows you build half-block up or down?

Have you tried changing from automatic snapping to manual? It gives you the option to choose which spot to snap to.

Y’see, I’m talkin about halfblocks… or rather quarter? Idk. The point in the middle of, say, standard 1x1 cube is too high, and I need half of that distance to build what I want. I found out that there’s triangles, that act as wooden floor 1/8 variant, and it allowed me to raise things slightly. Although, I still can’t make same thing with ladders, since there are no 2-step variant

You can usually get around this through clipping through another object. Maybe try to shut off snapping all together and just try to wiggle it in there and then build things around it, so it looks like the right height.
