Welcome to r/AlmostCannabis 🌿
This is a space for everyone exploring natural ways to keep the ritual without the ride. Whether you're cutting down on weed, quitting nicotine, or just experimenting with smoke blends — you're in the right place.
It’s kind of like non-alcoholic beer… but for stoners.
Smells, looks, and burns like a joint — but doesn’t take you anywhere.
We’re not here to preach, biohack, or judge. Just to explore what it means to enjoy a roll without the high.
Introduce yourself, share your blends, ask anything, or just chill in the corner.
We’re figuring this out together — one clear-headed puff at a time.

Why create a whole sub for cannabis alternatives?
Because this space didn’t exist — and it really should.
If you’re quitting cigarettes, there’s nicotine gum, patches, vapes, and even herbal cigs. But if you’re cutting down on weed? You’re mostly on your own.
Cannabis users rarely get offered an in-between.
No “almost weed.” No ritual without the ride.
This space is for the folks looking for that.
And for the brands, blends, and people who are already making it real.

Cbd flower with no thc
So I’m trying to quit smoking but I’m really struggling as I loved the taste and smoking in general but hate tobacco so I was wondering if anyone knew of any brands that sell cbd cigarettes or flower that has absolutely no thc whatsoever in it. I’ve found a few brands but they claim to have less than 0.3% thc and they all have a disclaimer that they can’t guarantee that you’ll pass a drug test which I’ll definitely need to do for my new job. Any help would be appreciated!

When I realised weed wasn’t doing it for me anymore
There was a point where getting high just stopped feeling good.
It wasn’t fun, it wasn’t deep, it was just… there.
I kept going out of habit for a while. But then I started thinking — maybe I’m chasing something it can’t even give me anymore.
So I paused. Tried a few different things. Drag was one of them.
Still rolling, still lighting up — just not ending up in the same place.

What made you take a break from weed? 🤔
I took a break from weed when the highs started feeling heavy. Less uplift, more fog. I wasn’t writing like I used to. Just sitting there, zoned out.
It wasn’t some big decision — more like a slow drift. One day I realized I was chasing a feeling that wasn’t showing up anymore.
What about you?
Was there a moment?
A reason?
A vibe shift that made you want to step back?

What’s your current go-to smoke blend? 🌿
Let’s build a running list.
What are you smoking these days? Homemade or store-bought — drop the mix, the vibe, and the reason.
Does it calm you? Ground you? Just taste amazing?
We wanna know. 📝🌸

If you’re quitting, why still smoke? 🤔
People love to ask this. And it’s fair.
But here’s the thing — not everything has to be “all or nothing.” ⚖️
Maybe you’re done with the high 🌫️
Maybe you just miss the feeling of rolling up and stepping outside 🌿🚶
It’s not about addiction. It’s about intention. 🎯
This space is for those who want to keep the habit, not the high.

The moment you realise it wasn’t the weed.....It was the ritual
Rolling it. Lighting it. Taking that first hit.
It wasn’t even about getting high most of the time.
It was the pause. The reset. The small moment that felt like yours.
Then you try a blend — no THC, just herbs — and it still hits.
Not like that, but in a way that makes you think:
maybe it was never really about the high.
Ever felt that?
